  • RICHARD THE STROK by Toby Genkel, producer: EAVE 2012 graduate Kristine Knudsen is in pre-production. Richard - a sparrow - is adopted by and grows up with a couple of storks, convinced he is himself a stork; problems arise when the storks, as migratory birds, leave for Africa to spend the winter. He wants to go, too, and starts hitchhiking through Europe, by bus, train and boat. The German-Norwegian project a €9.1 million, 3D-animated feature from an original screenplay by Iranian-German writer and producer Reza Memari – will go into production next March with €0.4 million funding from the Norwegian Film Institute.

  • PUENTES 2009 project I DREAM IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE by Ernesto Contreras, producer: EAVE 2005 graduate Raymond van der Kaaij was granted government support through Foprocine, the Mexican fund for Quality Film Production. The film tells the story of American linguist Robert Ambers who, while trying to save a mysterious Mexican indigenous language from oblivion, unearths the secret of its last two speakers, changing both life and death. The script was developed with support of the MEDIA Program of the European Union and the Rotterdam Media Fund. The film will be co-produced by Mexican based Agencia SHA and with this will be the first Dutch-Mexican co-production. Shooting is scheduled for late 2014 while financing and casting are currently in full swing.

  • EAVE 2010 project MAMMEJONG by Jacques Molitor, co-producers: EAVE 2010 graduate Bernard Michaux and EAVE 2010 graduate Alexandra Boussiou is in production. Shooting in Luxemburg in the language of the country, the film tells the story of man-child Flëpp (19) who needs to choose between his mother’s cosy fortress and an uncertain outside world in order to win the heart of young runaway Leena (16). • DODE HOEK by Nabil Ben Nadir, producer: EAVE 1994 graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum and EAVE 2009 graduate Peter Bouckaert is in production. DODE HOEK is a seriously hard-hitting thriller, following a racist cop at the end of his career, who is considering starting a career in politics in Anvers, supporting the ideas of the far-right party. Before that, his last investigation, which takes him to Charleroi, brings him to question his most deeply rooted certainties. The film is supported by Wallimage.

The film is now in post production and will hopefully be released halfway through 2014, coincidentally 15 years after the infamous NATO bombings.

DIGITAL PURCHASE ORDER - SPECIAL DEAL FOR EAVE MEMBERS

DIGITAL PURCHASE ORDER - SPECIAL DEAL FOR EAVE MEMBERS

Dear EAVE producers,

Digital Purchase Order is an award winning software designed for the film industry, where you can approve expenses before you are obligated to pay. That way you prevent receiving unknown invoices and simply can't go over budget.

Whoever has been working with a paper form based P.O. system in the past knows all the benefits, but also all the administrative burden.

Digital Purchase Order eliminates that. On average, our customers need less than 60 seconds to create a P.O. and less than 5 minutes to approve it

Since the software is particularly designed for international use, we are happy to announce a special deal, exclusively for EAVE members only:

1. Get the first 30 days for free.
2. Get a 30% discount for any additional months after the 30 days free trial.
3. Create an unlimited amount of Purchase Orders.
4. Invite as many users as you want to your project.

If you are in the rush, the Digital Purchase Order can help you with setting up your system or give you a personal training session
