In production

  • A GIRL UNKNOWN by Zou Jing, producer: EAVE graduate and group leader Didar Domehri is in production. The film depicts a young Chinese woman from the age of six through to her thirties, living in three different families. It tells the story of entire generations of abandoned girls in China from the 1980s to the 2000s. It is also an intimate coming-of-age story that explores existential pain, self-discovery, and how one learns to love. In A GIRL UNKNOWN Zou Jing follows through on her thorough investigation of Chinese society. She addresses what remains to this day a sensitive topic in the country: the predicament of girls abandoned by their family. The devastating consequences of the country’s one-child policy, which reached its peak in the 1980s and 1990s, remain a sad reality for countless families. Drawing from her personal experience, Zou Jing offers a reserved portrayal of psychological and emotional scars resulting from such trauma through three distinct chapters of her protagonist’s life. In this realistic, minimalistic film, in which emotions are expressed with utmost restraint, Zou Jing gracefully explores the truths hidden in this chapter of Chinese history.

In post-production

  • CALL ME QUEEN by Emily Atef, producer: EAVE graduate Gian-Piero Ringel is in post-production. The production has wrapped filming in Nairobi, Kenya. Adapted from Lara Santoro’s 2007 novel Mercy, the film depicts a friendship between an Irish journalist in Kenya and a Rwandan woman, who pair up to combat the AIDS crisis in the 1990s. Gian-Piero Ringel produces for Germany’s Ringel Film, with David Thion for France’s Les Films Pelleas; and from the UK, Catherine Townsend for Cowboy Films and Alexandra Stone for Streetcar Productions. Co-producers are Paul Zischler, Martin Rehbock and Appie Matere, with executive producers Charles Steel for Cowboy Films and Mo Abudu. Atef describes the film as “a cinematic celebration of empowerment and the strength found in community and collective action. To show the strength that emerges when people come together to challenge the status quo and reclaim their voice, is central to the film - something I believe strongly resonates today,” said Atef.

  • HOLD ON TO ME by Myrsini Aristidou, producer: EAVE graduate Konstantina Stavrianou is currently in post-production. It’s summer, and 11-year-old Iris is running wild through the streets with her older friend Danae when she learns her estranged father, Aris, is back in town for his own father’s funeral. Determined to know him, Iris tracks him down to a dilapidated shipyard, where he’s been keeping to himself. What begins as a stubborn attempt to reconnect slowly unfolds into a fragile bond - imperfect, yet poignant. “Hold onto Me is a personal and emotionally layered story about a father and daughter rediscovering each other. The film captures both the beauty and the tension of reconnection, weaving moments of humour, defiance and tenderness through the eyes of 11-year-old Iris. As a Cypriot filmmaker, it was important to me to portray the richness and stillness of everyday life here: the worn-out backdrops, the sense of time standing still, the forgotten colliding with the new, and the raw emotional undercurrents that continue to shape us. At its core, the film is about the fragile beginnings of a bond, one that never quite had the chance to grow, but might still find its shape”, Myrsini Aristidou said. Aristidou’s debut feature is a co-production between Cyprus, Denmark and Greece made in joint participation with the United States. The film was financed through a combination of public funds, institutional support, international grants, and private investment secured between 2018 and 2024. The producers are Monica Nicolaidou, Myrsini Aristidou, Anders N.U Berg, Konstantina Stavrianou and Rena Vougioukalou. Mark Hollinger and Thomas J. Mangan IV (USA) are executive producers. Filmblades (Cyprus) and One Six One Films (Cyprus) are producing the film in co-production with Fredo Pictures (Denmark), Graal S.A (Greece), with the support from the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture, ERT (Greek TV Channel), the Danish Film Institute, the Greek Film Center, the Black Family Grant of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Pleasant Bay Pictures, the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab - Emerging Filmmaker Award, and Mango Productions. The principal photography took place during the summer and fall of 2023 in Limassol and Nicosia, including the surrounding coastal areas. The completion of the film is expected by the summer of 2025.

Joint Statement / EYCS Council May 2025

As organisations working across the European film and audiovisual sector, we represent film and TV directors, producers, training and networking organisations, markets and festivals, sales agents, publishers and distributors of films both offline and online, and cinema operators.

We are writing to express our strong support for the ongoing efforts of the Council in strengthening the cultural and creative sectors across Europe, and to highlight the crucial role of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme.

The Council of the EU and the European Parliament will have a key role to play in future months, not just on the budget in the framework of the next MFF but also on ensuring that Creative Europe will be continued and reinforced. Strengthening MEDIA for a future-proof strong, vibrant and independent European film and audiovisual sector is only possible by maintaining it as a distinct programme. This should be done by ensuring a right balance between cultural and industrial objectives - since together these determine the sector’s competitiveness - and by securing the highest possible budget. The film and audiovisual sector need effective and sector-tailored EU funding programmes, to safeguard its long-term resilience, competitiveness and the vitality of Europe’s cultural and creative ecosystem.

The Creative Europe’s MEDIA sub-programme is undeniably a success story and has been instrumental in helping the European film and audiovisual sector to become increasingly culturally and creatively diverse, while proactively supporting collaboration at European level, as well as the development of markets and audiences for European film and TV works. The essence of MEDIA is to foster European culture, cinema, independent film and audiovisual companies and cultural diversity, while at the same time ensuring a sustainable and competitive film and audiovisual ecosystem, mixing large players and a solid ecosystem of SMEs, thus ensuring the competitiveness of European works and stakeholders. MEDIA will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026 and has always been paramount in allowing the audiovisual and film sector to thrive, in Europe and beyond.

As the only European programme specifically designed to support the development, circulation and promotion of European film and audiovisual works, taking into account today’s digital environment, the programme plays a vital role in celebrating cultural diversity, safeguarding our democratic values, enriching our common European identity, and enhancing social cohesion, while fostering innovation, competitiveness, economic growth and skilled jobs. In its own-initiative report on the Next long-term budget for the EU, the European Parliament "points to the importance of Creative Europe in contributing to Europe’s diversity and competitiveness and in supporting vibrant societies”. This is a thriving sector, largely due to cooperation, co-productions, talent exchange, training and networking. In terms of dissemination of works, sales agents, distributors, cinemas and festivals are key operators for offering cultural and linguistic diversity to European and international audiences.

In light of the ongoing digital transformation of the industry and technological innovations, of the current world political context, we firmly believe that it is crucial to continue supporting European cooperation, audiovisual creation and dissemination of works in Europe and beyond.

This support should be visible, inclusive, stable and sustainable. In the current context, we firmly believe that this is more needed than ever. Culture fosters a sense of belonging and civic engagement among citizens, which is essential for upholding our common democratic values.

Empowering Underrepresented Voices in Greenland and Beyond: Interview with EAVE graduate Emile Hertling Péronard

© Frank Schoepgens

EAVE graduate Emile Hertling Péronard, Greenlandic expert of the EAVE Producers Workshop, and group leader of the EAVE Sámi Producers Lab, has recently been appointed to be EAVE’s National Coordinator for Denmark. We sat down at this occasion to speak about producing in Greenland, his work around equity and inclusion, his different roles and recent films, and the upcoming EAVE THINK TANK panel in Cannes.

EAVE: The EAVE IMPACT THINK TANK, in which you have been actively involved, will present its latest results at the Cannes Marché du Film on May 17th. Why do you think the work EAVE does with the Think Tank is relevant, and what is your motivation to be part of it?

Emile Hertling Péronard: I have been part of the Think Tank for two years, focusing on inclusive co-productions. Joining EAVE’s Producers Workshop in 2021 was something I had considered for years to grow as a producer, and while I gained valuable knowledge, one of the biggest takeaways was the international network — it offered benefits far beyond individual projects! Every interaction, meeting, keynote or panel since has felt deeply rewarding, echoing the spirit of the workshop. Taking part in the Think Tank also aligned with my long-standing focus on diversity and inclusion, particularly in empowering underrepresented voices in film.

As a Greenlandic filmmaker, I faced systemic barriers, like being ineligible for Danish film funding, which highlighted how the industry has historically excluded many. Now that more people from underrepresented regions can create films thanks to technology, it's vital to address structural barriers and racism and to discuss issues that Indigenous and BIPOC people have felt trying to emerge through film funding systems. EAVE, especially through the Producers Workshop, plays a key role in that. The discussions I bring to the Think Tank, and to the EAVE Racial Equity Advisory Board that I’m also a part of, naturally extend from my background and from early conversations at the Producers Workshop, thanks to my very diverse group D.

As producers, we always try to find solutions to get where we want to go. But as Indigenous or global majority filmmakers, we are used to navigating systems not built for us: the road is not paved with public funding and broadcasters, so we need to find different ways. Inclusive co-production discussions at the Think Tank reflect our lived realities, and we try to answer the question: how can we change the system so the next generation doesn’t face the same obstacles?

How come Greenlanders didn’t have access to film funding in Denmark?

When Greenland gained home rule in 1979, some policies, for instance, cultural policy, were gradually taken over from Denmark. While that shift gave us more autonomy, it also closed the door to Danish resources — leaving us with very limited means to develop film. There was no filmmaking system before then: Greenlandic TV began in 1982, the first short film was produced in 1999, and the first feature in 2009. Everything started late and on minimal budgets, with in-kind services and help sourced locally.

Only 3–4 years ago did we manage to establish a special Danish funding scheme — NORDDOK — focused on documentaries from Greenland and the Faroe Islands, so that Greenlandic companies can now get production funding from Denmark. This came from our political advocacy and pushing for change, because the system simply wasn’t built for us. My new film, WALLS – AKINNI INUK which premiered at CPH:DOX 2025 and won the Nordic Dox Award, is the first since the very first film I did 11 years ago that I’ve been able to make as a majority Greenlandic producer! Until now, all my films had to go through my Danish company to secure funding. This is a clear example of how, as producers, we often have to push the system to change — by lobbying, advocating, and demonstrating the value of our work to prove to the people in power that this is something that they should really pay more attention to.

That’s very inspiring also to other Greenlandic filmmakers! Are there many?

The film community in Greenland is small but dedicated, around 50 individuals working professionally or semi-professionally in filmmaking as independent filmmakers (not employed at the TV station for instance). It is organised under a filmmakers’ association called Film.gl, established in 2012 and which has since been the only film body in Greenland, as we do not yet have a national film institute.

Not yet! But you are actually working on setting up one, right?

Yes, exactly. For years, our film association has advocated for a film institute — writing reports to politicians explaining how it could work and why it’s needed. We highlighted key aspects like the arms-length principle, ensuring decisions are made independently and professionally, not politically – which is fundamental in all areas of democratic society. Previously, film funding came directly from the government, with the cultural minister signing grants. While I never felt my projects were blocked for political reasons, it's not ideal to depend on who is in charge. With a film institute, we will finally have a dedicated fund, qualified project readers, and a film commissioner to build the infrastructure.

You have been working on the Sámi Producers Lab - organised by EAVE in partnership with the International Sámi Film Institute and Netflix - as an EAVE expert.  What is the relationship between Inuit and Sámi people and are their narratives relatively similar?

We are not the same people, but we are both Indigenous, colonised by similar countries, so there are many shared experiences we can talk about. Filmmaking opened that world to me — our first film in 2014 was selected for Toronto-based Indigenous film festival imagineNATIVE, and it was my first real encounter with other Indigenous filmmakers from all over the world. It was profound to see how they connected with our story and how we connected with theirs — we are all trying to reclaim our narratives through film.

At Berlinale in 2015, we saw the first native stand at EFM and reconnected with many of those people who had been at imagineNATIVE. That’s when I realised there is a global community of Indigenous filmmakers trying to help and empower each other, doing exactly what we talk about at EAVE — changing systems and building awareness. It’s really unique that I can have a conversation with a filmmaker from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and feel that we share history and values more so than I would with a non-Indigenous filmmaker from my neighbouring country.

Since then, we have worked closely with ISFI and imagineNATIVE, and we make sure to include these voices at our own film festival in Nuuk. These collaborations may be harder to fund, but they are deeply meaningful. So, when we talk about inclusive co-productions, it’s not only about power imbalances — it’s also about immediate trust, shared values and how much easier it is to work with those who truly understand where we are coming from.

The Arctic Indigenous Film Fund (AIFF) is part of the ecosystem. While it doesn’t yet support full productions, it funds development, workshops, and cross-border project — like the Witness program, where Arctic Indigenous filmmakers make 5-minute-long climate documentaries. The goal is to eventually provide production funding across borders, — just like ISFI does for Sámi filmmakers across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. It’s very unique for a film funding body to be able to do that. The same would be the case for the AIFF; it would be able to give money also to Greenland, to Canada, to Alaska, and all the Arctic regions that have indigenous peoples. That cross-border support is rare and powerful — and it’s something we really need more of.

But the Greenlandic film fund will be a national fund?

Yes, the Greenlandic film fund will be a national institute, similar to public film funding bodies in Europe. But there are exciting developments — for example, in Canada, Inuit from Greenland can now be counted as Canadian in the funding point system, since we are the same people separated by a colonial border. This change could make it easier for Greenlandic and Canadian Inuit to collaborate and access Canadian film funding.

Many changes are happening and adapting to the needs of people, right?

I am really hopeful. I mean, I know that now it’s a really difficult time when it comes to inclusion and diversity for other reasons, but at the same time I feel that the work that we have done and also the results that have come out of the EAVE Think Tanks is actually getting people to listen and institutions to realize that maybe it is a problem that the Canadian-Danish co-production  treaty has been signed in 1997 and hasn’t been changed since and maybe we do need to think a little bit different in today’s age.

This year at CPH:DOX I moderated a panel on inclusive and equitable co-productions, using the 2024 Think Tank report as a starting point to discuss filmmakers' experiences and challenges. The ideas strongly resonated with participants from other countries like Brazil and India, highlighting the urgent need for more balanced, sustainable collaboration models — something even Danish filmmakers, despite their privileged funding system, are beginning to acknowledge.

Producer Emile Hertling Péronard, director Lin Alluna and protagonist Aaju Peter at the opening of Twice Colonized in 2023 © CPH:DOX

Your most recent films TWICE COLONIZED and WALLS – AKINNI INUK generated many conversations at the festivals and got awarded generously. How have these films been actually made?

TWICE COLONIZED often comes up in discussions about co-production. It's a story about an Inuit woman from Greenland living in Canada, connecting both communities. The main character is lawyer Aaju Peter who has led a lifelong fight for the rights of Inuit people. When her youngest son unexpectedly passes away, Aaju embarks on a personal journey to bring her colonizers in both Canada and Denmark to justice.

I initially wanted to co-produce with Inuit producers Alethea Arnaquq-Baril and Stacey Aglok MacDonald of Red Marrow Media in the province of Nunavut, just an hour from Nuuk, but we hit a deadlock: not only I couldn’t raise enough funds in Greenland, but they lacked the track record to access national funding in Canada. Also, the Canadian funding system is so bureaucratic that it can be overwhelming for small companies, creating major barriers to meaningful collaborations.

After pitching at Hot Docs in 2019, Canadian company EyeSteelFilm joined Red Marrow in the project, securing the national funding and empowering us as the Indigenous majority producers. In the meantime, I established a company in Denmark to access Danish funding. In the end, we made it happen through an “intra-commonwealth” co-production between Greenland and Denmark and an “intra-provincial” co-production between Nunavut and Quebec. We were finally able to actually overcome the obstacles, work together and make the first Inuit co-production across colonial borders a reality. Now, Canadian funders use the film as an example of why the system needs to change — even CBC, the Canadian Broadcaster’s commissioning editor recently said it influenced how they view co-productions!

How did the audience resonate with the film?

The film resonated deeply in both Denmark and Canada, premiering at Sundance, then opening CPH:DOX and Hot Docs in the same year. I think it was an example of how important this discussion is in both Denmark and Canada, about these countries’ responsibilities towards the colonial trauma that this film explores through such a personal and intimate story. But its real impact came when it returned home to Greenland and Nunavut, where Aaju could reclaim her story and see how powerfully the film sparked conversations, for example in the Friday Night Talk Show. Despite the emotional weight of being a character in a big scale creative documentary, she says she was grateful for the dialogues and impact it has created. I think all this makes it very worthwhile. That’s why we do it, at the end of the day.

What about your next film, WALLS – AKINNI INUK?

WALLS – AKINNI INUK shares the same ideology as our other films: bringing out underrepresented voices. It’s set in a Greenlandic prison, where my friend Nina began filming nearly a decade ago. She met Ruth, a woman serving an indefinite sentence — meaning she might never be released — and they formed a powerful friendship. The film explores how two seemingly different people can deeply connect, help each other, even across very different lives.

It challenges our assumptions: Who is someone convicted of murder, really? Nina and Ruth discover they were both sexually abused as children. Nina had fantasised about revenge; Ruth had acted on it, which is why she is in the prison. The film becomes a dialogue about trauma, justice, and how thin the lines can be between drastically different life outcomes, depending on individual decisions. It’s also about giving a voice to someone who we tend as society to forget after we have locked them away.

Thanks to NORDDOK funding, and because the two directors Sofie Rørdam and Nina Paninnguaq Skydsbjerg were able to film over many years on a shoestring budget, we could make this a fully Greenlandic production, without the need for international co-production.

That’s impressive. Are local productions like that common in Greenland?

Not really. Most filmmakers back home work with tiny budgets, often doing everything themselves — you’ll see the same name over and over in the credits. But if you want a professional, international-level production with experienced crew — like for example our amazing editors on WALLS — you need external funding. That’s always the challenge.

Together with Pipaluk K. Jørgensen, I founded my fiction production company in Greenland as a service company in 2020, but now we’re doing co-productions and our own projects. We have just finished shooting a major French feature in Northern Greenland — the biggest production we have ever handled with substantial Greenlandic involvement. More international projects are on the way, and our goal is to ensure Greenlandic filmmakers are part of them! These films are coming to Greenland regardless (we have stunning locations), so we want to make sure our people get the experience and opportunities they bring.

Sharing knowledge and building up local talent is a big part of our mission. That’s also why I joined the Sámi Producers Lab — it’s such an important initiative! Greenland faces the same problem: many talented filmmakers are producing their own work because there simply aren’t enough producers. Long term, that’s risky. If we don’t train producers, foreign companies will take over our stories and control - we need to empower Greenlandic producers. I’d love for them to experience something like the Sámi Producers Lab — it was incredibly valuable. And if we can make this tough job a bit more appealing, maybe more people will see what an amazing, meaningful career it can be, beyond all the paperwork, to be a producer.

EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER PROGRAMME session for EAVE graduates

This year EAVE has teamed up with the International Film School Köln’s (IFS) EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER PROGRAMME (ESP), to offer an introductory online session (“Producing in the Showrunner Model”) on showrunning in Europe for EAVE graduates and for the participants of EAVE Producers Workshop 2025

ABOUT THE SESSION

This session on May 5 featured a case study presented by a producer and a showrunner who have previously collaborated. The goal was to understand the new creative process Showrunning in Europe, to explore the dynamics of the collaboration of showrunners and producers, and to help define their respective roles more clearly.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Jeppe Gjervig Gram & Jacob Jarek

Despite its growing popularity, there are still many misconceptions about the showrunner position in Europe. This online session with experienced writer and showrunner Jeppe Gjervig Gram ("Borgen", "Follow the Money") and renowned producer Jacob Jarek ("The Apprentice", "Follow the Money") offered a unique opportunity to learn about the showrunner model directly from two top industry professionals.
Focusing on the crucial relationship between showrunner and producer, this session explored the benefits and challenges of this innovative work model. Using Jeppe’s and Jacob’s working relationship as a case study, the session discussed how the showrunner model impacts the role of the producer, illustrating how showrunners and producers support each other as equal creative partners.

ABOUT IFS’S EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER PROGRAMME

The European Showrunner Programme (ESP) is dedicated to analysing, discussing and eventually establishing a uniquely European approach to showrunning, tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of series production in Europe. Rather than adopting the US showrunner model, the ESP aims to create a framework that addresses the distinct characteristics of the European series markets.

As the lead creative force behind a series, the showrunner is a writer-producer responsible for maintaining the creative vision from ideation through story development, pre-production, shooting, post-production, and marketing. They make all creative decisions, including involvement in the final cut, and work closely with the production department on budget matters and with all heads of department. This role demands a unique blend of creative and managerial skills, making it one of the most challenging and rewarding positions in the industry.

The evolving practice of showrunning in Europe defines a new creative process where the writer's responsibilities span the entire production workflow, from story development and pre-production to post-production supervision, distribution, marketing, and audience design. Showrunners must be excellent series writers with a strong creative vision, a producer’s mindset, and exceptional communication and leadership skills. Although most European series writers have yet to acquire these skills, the demand for showrunners is steadily growing.

Programme Structure

The ESP consists of three main components:

  1. European Showrunner Training: A six-month training and mentoring programme designed to equip experienced European series writers with the essential skills and insights needed for the showrunner role. Through online and on-site seminars and one-on-one mentoring, participants develop the mindset and self-awareness necessary for successful showrunning. The programme emphasizes creative leadership and covers key areas such as head writing, directing, and producing. It also encourages showrunners to embrace advancements in AI and consider the social impact of their work, while providing access to a vast and reliable professional network.
  2. European Showrunner Think Tank: A series of industry events aimed at discussing, defining, and establishing the showrunner position in Europe. These events facilitate dialogue among industry professionals to ensure the successful integration of the showrunner model into the European series production landscape.
  3. European Showrunner Network: A platform for ongoing support and collaboration among European showrunners, fostering a community of practice and continuous professional development.

The ESP is committed to nurturing the next generation of European showrunners, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of this pivotal role and significantly contribute to the advancement and success of the European series industry.

EAVE Launches 2025 Think Tank Report on Inclusive Co-Production at Marché du Film

EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) is proud to announce the release of its 2025 EAVE IMPACT Think Tank Report on Inclusive Co-Production Practices, a bold new framework to transform international co-production models through equity, transparency, and narrative sovereignty. The report will officially launch at a special panel during this year’s Marché du Film – Co-Production Day:

Panel: Inclusive Co-Productions – Building New Frameworks
Date: Saturday, 17 May
Time: 10:00–11:00 AM
Location: Palais Stage (Level -1), Marché du Film, Cannes

Speakers: Emile Hertling Péronard (Ánorâk Film, Denmark & Greenland), Jennifer Sabbah-Immagine (BIG SISTER & JSI Consultant, FR), Myriam Sassine (La Niña Cinema, France & Lebanon), Daniela Mujica (Productions Ocho, Canada)

Moderator: Tamara Dawit (Gobez Media, Canada, Ethiopia)

Developed through a global, multi-stakeholder think tank facilitated by EAVE in partnership with When East Meets West (WEMW) and supported by the Canada Media Fund (CMF), Telefilm Canada, and the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA), the report responds to an urgent need to address systemic barriers in the global co-production ecosystem. As international collaboration becomes more critical to financing screen content, the need for inclusive co-production models that reflect a plurality of voices has never been greater.

“International co-productions have long been a tool for collaboration, but too often they replicate inequitable systems and silence the very voices they aim to amplify. With this report, we offer not just a critique - but a roadmap - for producers committed to co-creating a truly inclusive and globally representative screen industry. At EAVE, we believe this work is essential to the future of international storytelling.” - Kristina Trapp, CEO, EAVE

The report outlines concrete areas of work for producers across all stages of content creation, offering practical tools and strategies to build more ethical and inclusive co-productions:

  • Development: Building narratives that resonate locally and globally through innovative storytelling techniques, community engagement, and cultural considerations.
  • Financing & Contracting: Establishing equitable financing structures that ensure fair access to resources for marginalized creators, including alternative funding models, co-financing strategies, and ethical revenue-sharing considerations.
  • Production: Ensuring inclusive crew selection, fostering team-building on set, and implementing ethical frameworks such as contracts, codes of conduct, and legal capacity-building measures.
  • Post-Production: Protecting creative integrity by establishing processes that uphold cultural authenticity and ensure the developmental vision remains intact.
  • Release & Distribution: Crafting inclusive release strategies that maximize market access while ensuring equitable representation of all co-producing parties across festival platforms, commercial venues, and non-theatrical screening opportunities.

"Building a truly inclusive global screen industry demands more than goodwill—it requires real frameworks for action. This report is a powerful step forward, offering guiding principles and tangible tools that can reshape how we collaborate across borders, cultures, and communities to bring stories to life. The CMF is honoured to support this important work, and we are grateful for the strong partnership between EAVE, Telefilm, and IEFTA in making it possible." - Joy Loewen, VP of Growth & Inclusion, CMF

This initiative builds on EAVE’s long-term commitment to advancing inclusion and sectoral transformation. The Canada Media Fund, a key partner in this effort, continues to champion inclusive practices and this necessary global dialogue.

Please note: the report is under embargo until May 17, 2025, and will be made publicly available online following its Cannes launch.
