We also appreciate applications from related areas of the industry (e.g. regional and national funding institutions) and from relevant trainers and consultants.
The working language at the workshop is English.
SELECTION CRITERIA
We aim to be transparent and unbiased in our selection process. EAVE is keen to ensure the widest possible participation in our programmes and has a strong focus on securing as diverse a selection of people and projects as possible. Diversity is viewed as a primary focus, not only with regards to nationality, geographic spread, race, age and gender, but also type of projects, experience and background. Our experience is, that the richer the pool of people and projects, the richer the overall experience of the participants and the more dynamic the groups, the mutual learning exchange and inspiration.
The selection is overseen by the EAVE Marketing Workshop’s Heads of Study in conjunction with EAVE’s CEO. Members of the Workshop’s Pedagogical Team and the EAVE National Coordinators might also be consulted for advice on the selection. The final selection decision will be taken 4 weeks before the training and is commented upon and approved by the EAVE board.
The selection of participants is based on the application file evaluating:
- the experience (at least 3 years of industry experience) in production, marketing, sales, distribution or exhibition
- long term career goals / professional motivation for integration, contribution and collaboration with the film industry
- personal motivation to participate in the training, share and contribute to the workshop, engage in the other participants and projects
- company profile (company track record, projects and size)
- project synopsis and audience potential of the project
