A five-days immersive Audience-focused workshop exploring 360º film marketing by gaining insight about the classic tools and the latest trends in Digital PR, social media management, digital marketing and Audience building.

LUXEMBOURG, NOVEMBER 8 – 13, 2022

Inspired by the EAVE methodology, Design Thinking techniques and visual, tangible and playful exercises, this tailor-made workshop embraces the importance of traditional and innovative marketing techniques and Audience-centred strategies. Co-Heads of Studies Alya Belgaroui-Degalet and Sarah Calderón have designed a unique programme where participants are collectively working on the group’s projects more than half of the time. The result is a hands-on approach with concrete tools that anyone can apply immediately within their own team in today’s and tomorrow’s industry. This casual way of learning facilitates network and community building across countries from all over the world.

"Connection is the key word. EAVE is the perfect workshop to connect with other's point of view, sharing and enriching your perspectives as well as creating new friendships and possible collaborations to improve the industry."

- Maria Lanfranchi, Intramovies, Italy

AN IMPORTANT PLACE FOR DIGITAL MARKETING

Digital strategies are becoming more important than ever in the audiovisual market. The programme of this on site workshop will feature digitally focused sessions, online and hybrid case studies and social media examples related to the new digital age.

The 30 carefully selected participants will have a full overview of the actual marketing trades in terms of targeting and positioning from international sales strategies to national release and creating awareness throughout the release process, including festivals. Participants and experts alike will bring their own perspectives and encourage knowledge sharing throughout the workshop.

"Great insights, particularly into online tools and into using these tools collectively to create good outreach - very energising sessions and inspiration!"

-Martina Bleis, Berlinale Co-Production Market, Germany

"This was quite a challenge and had a lot of moments that took me out of my comfort zone, either professionally or socially, but you all managed to create an environment that was supportive and relaxed enough so as to make me feel comfortable and more than willing to participate fully. On top of this, the sessions were very well thought out and I'm glad to have had the insights and professional tips from all our experts, all of them ready to share and engage with us."

-Christina Liapi, Heretic Outreach, Greece

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The workshop is targeted at producers as well as professionals working in sales, distribution and marketing departments. We also welcome applications from related areas of the industry (e.g. regional and national funding institutions, film festivals and markets etc.) and from relevant trainers and consultants who want to innovate in their marketing techniques.

"The EAVE Marketing Workshop brings insight into the marketing process and the realities of the business and it also gives hands-on training in applying that knowledge in work sessions throughout the workshop. It is thorough and efficient and by the end you have actual ideas and tools that you can use for your project."

-Fleur Knopperts, Volya Films, The Netherlands
