An intense workshop week in Seefeld in Tirol came to an end. EAVE would like to thank local partner CINETIROL for the great organization of the EAVE European Producers Workshop 2, 2010. Host Johannes Köck and his team - Angelika Pagitz, Anna Griesser, Thomas Fuchs and Sabine Frühauf-Aigner - enabled the EAVE group to experience eight days of fruitful work and inspiration, as well as discovering the region of Tirol as a unique location.
The EAVE European Producers Workshop 2010 gathered 50 producers from 28 countries all over Europe and beyond, in Seefeld in Tirol, from June 29 - July 7. 15 scriptwriters and 20 leading experts from the European film industry for one intensive week of training, project development and networking. 34 of the participants brought their projects in development, 6 of them documentaries. In group-sessions and individual meetings, these projects were further developed and prepared for the encounters with the Decision Makers at Workshop 3 in Belgrade (Serbia) from October 18-25, 2010.
EAVE´s offer to local film professionals was very successful and numerous local filmmakers attended the open plenary sessions, enjoyed the networking offer with the EAVE producers, and took part in the Mini-EAVE. The Mini-EAVE, a specially designed programme for local film professionals during the EAVE workshops, took place in the framework of the regular Cine Tirol meeting. EAVE Chief Executive Kristina Trapp and EAVE Honorary President Danny Krausz, DOR Film, gave more information about EAVE and our activities.
