Application Procedure

All written documents must be in English.

Application Requirements

Please merge all the requested documents into one PDF file, with the filled-in application form as cover page. Please mention your family name in the name of the file.

a) for applicants applying to participate with a project:

About you:

  • 1 page Letter of motivation (your main reasons for applying now; what you wish to achieve etc.)
  • 1-2 page CV
  • Brief description of your production company or your professional activities
  • A list of your company's productions: in development, pre-production, production and a selection of those released
  • If you are an employee of a larger company: please explain your role and responsibility within the company and list the projects in which you had a leading role (and mention which)
  • If you are applying for a scholarship, in addition: short motivation letter explaining why you are applying for a scholarship. If you apply for the scholarship available for European residents and citizens who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour, please clarify and include a motivation.   • 1 portrait photograph

About the project:

  • 1 page synopsis
  • 1 page max. explaining the target audience & main goal of the project (e.g. financial success, festival career & awards, entertainment, provocation, emotional impact on the audience, societal change etc.)
  • Estimated production budget in €
  • Financing plan in €
  • Completed treatment OR script* / If you apply with a TV series project: completed treatment or script for the first episode AND series general story outline (if presented by division for episodes: max 1 page per episode)
  • The payment confirmation for the registration fee of 100 € (not applicable if you have applied to this programme before) – see payment instructions at the end of this document.

* If you don’t have a script yet, please send a treatment. If you currently only have the script in the original language, you can send an English language treatment. An English version of the script must be made available one month after selection.

b) for applicants applying to participate with a focus on career development (without a project):

  • 1 page Letter of motivation (your main reasons for applying now; what you wish to achieve etc.)
  • 1-2 page CV
  • Brief description of your production company or your professional activities
  • A list of your company's productions: in development, pre-production, production and a selection of those released
  • If you are an employee of a larger company: please explain your role and responsibility within the company and list the projects in which you had a leading role (and mention which)

Data collection questionnaire

EAVE is committed to equal opportunities from qualified European and international individuals from diverse backgrounds and across all abilities. Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
