Paris Project 2011: LAST CHANCE TO APPLY!

Call for entry for the first edition 2011 of the Eye on Films (EoF)

Created in January 2011, Eye on Films is a unique, global network of film professionals, which guarantees the circulation of a selection of first feature films in festivals partners in Europe and third countries, and the commercial exploitation of these films by distribution partners in Europe and third countries. EoF is a project developed by Wide Management, a leading independent sales company, representing a library of more than 600 titles, features and documentaries, with a catalogue containing an impressive variety of movies from internationally acclaimed directors. 

Anybody can submit a film, as long as it fulfils the Submission requirements detailed in the EoF Regulations: http://eyeonfilms.org/eof-regulations-2011/

EoF is looking for recent works (completed after Oct 31st, 2010) from first time directors, preferably never screened outside their country of origin. Rights Holders should upload their Film on Cinando’s Online Screening Room (www.cinando.com) and then notify submission@eyeonfilms.org by sending the Entry Form.www.eyeonfilms.org

 

Moscow Business Square

DEADLINE for applications: April 30, 2011

From June 27-29 Moscow Business Square takes place during Moscow International Film Festival. The business platform Moscow Business Square is aimed at developing cooperation in co-production and distribution of audiovisual content, as well as at increasing the access of foreign companies to Russian Film and TV market. The key event of the Moscow Business Square will be the 3rd Moscow co-production Forum. 18 film projects in development from all over the world are selected.In 2011, the Forum program will bring together film projects, supposed collaboration with post-Soviet states: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova (The Eastern Europe) Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan (Countries of the trans-Caucasian region); Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan (Central Asia) Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania (The Baltic)For project requirements and further details on the programme: www.miffbs.ru

Paris Cinema IFF's co-production and development platform - July 4 to 7, 2011

Paris Project is the co-production and development platform of Paris Cinema International Film Festival. It is a four days event, taking place early July, that brings together around twelve international projects in development and a few films in postproduction, that are looking for French and European potential partners (such as co-producers, sales agents, distributors, financers…).

The ambition of Paris Project is to gather key players in the French and European film industry, around a few high quality international production projects that are not yet finalised. What makes Paris Project so special and successful is that it aims at encouraging professionals to get involved in foreign projects in development and films in postproduction in order to promote financial arrangements, co-productions and networking with potential French and European partners. 

 

PARIS PROJECT MEETINGS

Deadline for projects application: April 22, 2011

Please note that projects have to be submitted by a production company and projects submitted should not have French partners attached.Paris Project invites the foreign filmmakers and producers of the selected projects in development to spend 4 days in Paris: personalised appointments and one-to-one meetings are organized with French and European professionals who are likely to be interested in those selected projects and to bring them financial support through co-production or presales. 

 

Paris Project Screenings

Deadline for films in post-production application: May 24, 2011

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
