EAVE Scholarship at WHEN EAST MEETS WEST in Trieste

Italian documentary producer Elena Tomasin was awarded a scholarship to attend the EAVE 2011 European Producers Workshop with her project MARKED BODIES by FVG Audiovisual Fund at the Co-Production Market WHEN EAST MEETS WEST in January in Trieste. http://www.audiovisivofvg.it/news/page/2/ 


New Head of MEDIA Desk Austria

Former EAVE workshop manager Esther Krausz was selected out of over 40 applications to take over the management of the MEDIA Desk Austria. Esther Krausz will work in the organisational team of the Producers Network at the Marché du Film as a coordinator from May 7 - 18. She will start her new position from June 1. www.mediadeskaustria.eu  

 

Help shape the future of MEDIA MUNDUS

The European Commission is inviting responses to an online public consultation on the future of MEDIA Mundus. The purpose of the consultation is to gather opinions regarding the provision of an international co-operation programme from audiovisual professionals in Europe and beyond, with a view to shaping a 'new MEDIA Mundus' for 2014 onwards. The online consultation is just one part of a wider public consultation, responses to which will be taken into account in the Commission's proposal for a new MEDIA Mundus programme (to be adopted by the European Parliament and European Council), following an assessment of possible social, economic and environmental impacts. The consultation is open to individual citizens, public and private bodies, local/regional authorities, ministries and relevant stakeholders in the audiovisual sector, both inside and outside the EU. The consultation is available online and only takes a few minutes to complete.

The deadline to respond is 23 May 2011.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
