Six projects were taken up at the third session of 2015 of the second college of the advance on receipts of the CNC. Among them are:
- ORPHELINE by Arnaud des Pallières, producer: EAVE graduate Michel Klein. Shooting started on 20 July.
- UNE VIE by Stéphane Brizé, co-producer: EAVE graduate Jacques-Henri Bronckart. The film tells the story of Jeanne du Perthuis des Vauds’ life between the ages of 18 and 45, in the early 19th century: it is the story of a hypersensitive woman, overly sheltered and in search of the absolute, who is unable to face up to the harsh reality of the world. The film is backed by Eurimages, the Centre for Film and Audiovisual Arts of the Belgian-French Community, Wallonia-Brussels, the Upper Normandy Region.
- GIRLS WITH BALLS by Olivier Afonso, co-producers: EAVE graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum and EAVE graduate Alexandra Hoesdorff receives funding by Wallimage. It’s about the misfortunes of a female volleyball team which is abandoned in the middle of the countryside and left to the frenzied ravings of a gang of debauched hunters. The girls try everything they can to save themselves. Although the movie sits within the classic survival genre, the project is billed as a trashy comedy.
- THE AMAZING MR JONES by Michael Caton-Jones, producer: EAVE graduate Jens Meurer is in development. Set in London, the film tells the story of a beautiful woman, married to a wealthy politician, who places an advert seeking a lover who can give her the orgasm she has yet to experience. When she meets a younger man, a passionate but complicated affair begins.
