DISTRIBUTORS-PRODUCERS WORKING SESSION AT VENICE PRODUCTION BRIDGE 2026
Special for EAVE members
Save the date – Think Tank session Producers-Distributors – Sunday September 6, 16-19:00, Hotel Excelsior, Venice
Gather for a conversation with distributors from across the globe to improve collaboration across the film value chain!
Europa Distribution is the international association of independent film publishers and distributors with more than 130 members from Europe and beyond, that acts as a network and think tank to foster the circulation of independent films through the sharing of knowledge, best practices and ideas among its members.
On Sunday, September 6, 16-19:00, Europa Distribution will organise the fourth edition of their working session for producers and distributors within the scope of the Venice Production Bridge, in collaboration with ACE Producers, EAVE and the European Producers Club.
The aim is to connect independent film producers and distributors to streamline the workflow from creation to audiences. For this edition again, discussions will focus on improving interactions and sharing best practices, promoting the development of new connections and constructive dialogue between the two sectors.
Thirty distributors, members of Europa Distribution, alongside thirty producers, members of EPC, ACE Producers, and alumni of EAVE, will take part in the brainstorming session to discuss shared interests and challenges spanning the entire lifecycle of a film. The exchange will provide both groups with a chance to better understand the needs and limitations of the other, creating a better understanding of the work done by each.
The working session will take place at the Hotel Excelsior – Spazio Incontri and should be followed by a networking drink. More information will be shared this summer.
