Film, TV, Games & Comics collide in London this July

Helsinki Film Lab is bringing its inspiring, high-energy cross-industry networking concept to London for the first time, connecting professionals across film, television, games, comics, publishing, funding and IP development.

Taking place on Friday 17 July at Colours Hoxton in Shoreditch, the evening is designed for creative industry professionals interested in how stories, worlds and intellectual property can travel across formats, from screen to games, games to film and TV, comics to animation, publishing to interactive media, and beyond.

The theme of the evening is New Economies of IP: how do we fund, develop and produce adaptations across media? What does transmedia production look like in practice? And how can creators, studios, producers, developers, investors and funders build more ambitious cross-sector collaborations around stories and worlds?

The event begins with a panel conversation featuring:

• Chris Filip - British Film Institute
• Eloise Singer - Singer Productions (The Pirate Queen)
• Victoria Fäh - IPR.VC (Marty Supreme, Eddington)
• Steve Stewart - Dreamloop Games (ALMA)

The panel will be followed by relaxed networking, with tickets including a welcome drink. There will also be special drinks offers available throughout the evening.

Helsinki Film Lab’s cross-industry networking events have already become a much-loved part of the creative ecosystem in Helsinki, known for their warm, inspiring and community-led atmosphere.
