Sarajevo Film Festival

  • SAFE PLACE by Juraj Lerotić, producer: EAVE graduate Miljenka Čogelja wins the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Film in the Feature Film Competition and Heart of Sarajevo for Best Actor, while the film scoops the CICAE Award offered by the International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas for Best Film in the Feature Film competition, as well as the Cineuropa Prize of the eponymous web portal devoted to European cinema and its creators.
  • CORSAGE by Marie Kreutzer, producers: EAVE graduate and Luxembourgish National Coordinator Bernard Michaux, EAVE graduate Jonas Dornbach wins the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
  • THE WHITE FORTRESS by Igor Drljaca, producers: EAVE graduates Amra Baksic Camo and Adis Djapo won the “Ivica Matić” Award

Pula International Film Festival

Numerous awards for EAVE graduates at the Pula International Film Festival

  • THE STAFFROOM by Sonja Tarokic, producer: EAVE group leader and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic, co-producer: EAVE graduate Janja Kralj is the big winner of the festival. On top of winning the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film, THE STAFFROOM scooped four more Golden Arenas. Sonja Tarokic was awarded as Best Director, Stojan Matavulj and Nives Ivankovic won the Arenas for Best Male Lead and Best Supporting Actress respectively, and Borna Buljevic was awarded for Best Editing. The film also won the Prize of the Critics Jury in the National competition.
  • THE UNCLE by Andrija Mardesic, David Kapac, producer: EAVE graduate and Serbian National Coordinator Milan Stojanovic won awards for Best Screenwriting and Best Costume Design
  • ILLYRICUM by Simon Bogojevic Narath, Sasa Podgorelec, producer: EAVE group leader and National Coordinator Croatia Ankica Juric Tilic was awarded Best Make-up
  • KICK AND SCREAM by Nina Violic, producer: EAVE graduate Zdenka Gold received the Breza award for Best Debut Feature
  • EVEN PIGS GO TO HEAVEN by Sandra Antolic, co-producer: EAVE graduate Danijel Pek got the award for Best male supporting role
  • BURNING DAYS by Emin Alper, co-producer: EAVE graduate Stienette Bosklopper won the awards for Best Film, Best Croatian minority co-production and the award of the Critics’ Jury.
  • HOW I LEARNED TO FLY by Radivoje Andric, produced by EAVE graduate Maja Popovic, EAVE graduate and Serbian National Coordinator Milan Stojanovic, co-producers: EAVE graduate and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic, EAVE graduate Katarina Krnacova scooped two prizes, for Best Croatian Contribution in a minority co-production and the Audience Award
  • BUTTERFLY VISION by Maksim Nakonechnyi, co-producer: EAVE graduate Dagmar Sedlackova got the Special Mention.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
