«EAVE+ was a ground breaking step in the shaping of the future of our company.»
Santiago Gallelli, Rei Cine, Argentina, EAVE+ 2019

Applications are open for independent producers with a solid track record and international experience from Europe and the rest of the world until February 3, 2020.

The programme is designed for proucers who have been running their own company for five years + and/or who have worked five years + at senior management level in another company. We strongly recommend that two individuals at senior management level attend from each company.

Led by EAVE+ Head of Studies Jani Thiltges (Samsa Film, LU), the workshop will tackle topics such as: How to grow as a company? How to reinvent yourself after failure? How to sustain a viable business? What kind of leader am I? How to improve my team management? How to achieve a better life work balance?

Part of the programme is a special workshop by marketing strategist and business development consultant AC Coppens (The Marketing Catalysts), supporting the producers in their entrepreneurial effort - as companies founders, leaders or managers. With strategic scenario development tools and exercises specifically designed for their individual purposes, we will explore strategy options to sustain and develop their company in a challenging and competitive context.

Among the experts for this session will be EAVE consultant Linda Beath, who will take the EAVE+ participants to the next level of company management: how to hire and fire, cashflow management, how to structure your business, and other burning management issues.

EAVE management coach Michael Comyn (The Fearless Organisation IE) will work on the individual leadership qualities and resilience in private coaching sessions.

Marc Bordure (FR), General and Financial Manager of the French production company AGAT FILMS & Cie / Ex Nihilo, will discuss questions related to the company structure and go into some detail about setting up a production company development fund.

Christophe Vidal (Natixis Coficiné, FR) will share his advice for producers working with banks and go through some of the criteria of a bank for choosing clients and lending money, the required application documents as well as different kinds and structures of loans.

EAVE+ is organised once a year in Luxembourg with support of the Creative Europe - MEDIA sub-programme of the European Union and Film Fund Luxembourg.

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
