EAVE Producers Workshop – one of the leading training programmes for audiovisual producers in Europe – will come to Novi Sad, Serbia in June 2019.

On Monday June 24, EAVE will offer in Novi Sad a special programme for the Serbian professionals, with top experts from the European film industry:

The speakers and topics include the following:

The day will start with welcome words and short presentation of EAVE by EAVE CEO Kristina Trapp.

EAVE finance expert Linda Beath (Ideal Filmworks, IT) will bring up to date the discussion about Digital Single Market.

EAVE marketing expert Sarah Calderon (The Film Agency, ES) will talk about digital strategies at the launch stage from the point of view of the producer.

EAVE Head of Studies Lise Lense-Møller (Magic Hour Films, DK) will devote her plenary session to the specific questions and challenges related to the development of documentaries.

The plenaries will be followed by a mingling session with the EAVE participants, experts and team, as well as a dinner.

The sessions will take place at Sheraton Novi Sad, Polgar Andrasa 1, Novi Sad 406915.

We will organize transportation from Belgrade to Novi Sad in the morning of June 24, as well as transportation back to Belgrade (one bus before and one bus after dinner). The transportation, as well as the lunch, coffee break and dinner will be free of charge for the Serbian participants, and offered by MEDIA Desk Serbia.

EAVE open plenaries

In addition to the tailor-made EAVE@Novi Sad programme, industry professionals from Serbia will be welcome to attend the open sessions at the EAVE Producers Workshop in Novi Sad from June 22-26:

  • Saturday June 22 at 17.00-18.00: Producing in and with Serbia by several speakers
  • Sunday June 23 at 14.30-16.00: Legal Aspect of Co-production by Pierre-Emmanuel Mouthuy (Mouthuy Avocats, BE)
  • Tuesday June 25 at 9.00-11.00: Revenue Streams by Linda Beath (Ideal Filmworks, IT)
  • Wednesday June 26 at 9.00-10.00: Eurimages by Sergio Garcia (Eurimages)


The sessions will take place at Sheraton Novi Sad, Polgar Andrasa 1, Novi Sad 406915.

  • Which sessions you would like to attend.
  • In case you wish to attend the EAVE@Novi Sad day, please also indicate whether you would like to join the group transport Belgrade – Novi Sad – Belgrade. Please also indicate whether you would like to join the bus back before dinner or after dinner.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
