Netherlands Film Production Incentive

The Netherlands Film Production Incentive scheme has selected 22 new film projects. The projects by EAVE graduates supported in the first round are:

  • BULLETPROOF 2 by Diarmuid Goggins, co-producers: EAVE graduates Arnold Heslenfeld, Laurette Schillings & Frans van Gestel
  • DO NOT HESITATE by Shariff Korver, producer: EAVE graduate Léontine Petit
  • NO. 10 by Alex van Warmerdam, co-producer: EAVE graduate Heino Deckert
  • OINK’S REVENGE by Mascha Halberstad, producer: EAVE graduate Marleen Slot
  • SEA OF TIME by Theu Boermans, co-producer: EAVE graduate Peter Bouckaert
  • THE ALCOHOL PROJECT by Thomas Vinterberg, co-producers: EAVE graduates Arnold Heslenfeld, Laurette Schillings & Frans van Gestel
  • WHEN FISH START FLYING by Eché Janga, Dutch producer: EAVE graduate Derk-Jan Warrink

National Film Centre of Latvia

  • LOVABLE by Stanislavs Tokalovs, producers: EAVE graduate and Latvian National Coordinator Aija Berzina, B’EST graduate Alise Gelze receives funding from the National Film Centre of Latvia. LOVABLE tells the story of a modern-day ‘broken’ family and what happens when the person holding them together suddenly dies.

The Polish Film Insitute supports the following international minority co-productions in its first session of 2019:

  • DISCO BOY by Giacomo Abbruzzese, producer: EAVE graduate Maria Blicharska
  • THE GARDEN by Ragnar Bragason, producer: EAVE participant Beata Rzezniczek
  • WOLF by Nathalie Biancheri, producer: EAVE graduate Agnieszka Wasiak

Italian MIBAC (Ministero per i Beni e le Attivitá Culturali, Italy) has announced its production support:

  • PUENTES project PABLO by Enrico Maria Artale, producer: PUENTES graduate Carla Altieri. The project has been invited to BAM (Bogotà Audiovisual Market) in July.
  • EAVE project DUE by Giuseppe Battiston, producer: EAVE participant Marica Stocchi
  • RE GRANCHIO by Alessio Leonardo Rigo De Righi and Matteo Zoppis, co-producer: PUENTES graduate Ezequiel Borovinsky and PUENTES participant Agustina Costa Varsi

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
