"I’m glad to go back to EAVE after ten years when I took the workshop but now to support emerging filmmakers." PUENTES graduate Nicolas Celis, producer of Academy Award winner ROMA

EAVE PUENTES Europe/Latin America Co-Production Workshop launches its 10th edition from June 10 – 14, 2019, in Fiuggi, Italia. 15 high-profile producers and professionals (complete list of participants below) have been selected out of a record number of over 96 applications from 25 countries.

PUENTES is a two-part programme taking place in Fiuggi, Italy, in partnership with FVG Audiovisual Fund, with the collaboration of ROMA LAZIO FILM COMMISSION and under the patronage of MiBAC, from June 10 – 14, 2019, and Montevideo, Uruguay (November 27 – December 1, 2019) in partnership with Mutante Cine, with the support of ICAU (Instituto de Cine y Audiovisual del Uruguay) and Ibermedia. Thanks to a special cooperation, all participants will be able to attend VENTANA SUR (December 2 -7, 2019), in Buenos Aires.

We are happy to announce that thanks to our partnership with MiBAC, Italian Ministry of Culture, the PUENTES participants will be joined by 11 Italian producers and distributors for two days of common plenary sessions, tailor-made group work and professional networking.

Aside from the plenary sessions, daily group work sessions will be the core of PUENTES. Participants will discuss and analyze each other’s projects under the guidance of Jean des Forêts (Petit film, France) and Agustina Chiarino (Mutante Cine, Uruguay). Our key experts who will meet and guide participants includes Jacques Akchoti (script consultant, FR), Aranka Matits (Featurette, NL), Fernando Epstein (Mutante Cine, UY) and ROMA producer and PUENTES graduate Nicolás Celis (Pimienta Films, MEX).

PUENTES is organized by EAVE in partnership with Mutante Cine, FVG Audiovisual Fund, Ventana Sur and with the support of Ibermedia and Creative Europe – MEDIA sub-programme of the European Union.
