CINELINK: Special opportunity for EAVE producers

Dear EAVE producers,

We are happy to let you know that thanks our partnership with CineLink Industry Days, we are again able to offer EAVE producers the unique possibility to have privileged access to the CineLink Co-production Market in order to meet regional filmmakers and discover their projects.

Producers interested in co-producing with Southeastern Europe can now apply through EAVE for participation at CineLink Industry Days taking place August 17-22, 2019.

The CineLink Co-Production Market presents the most promising Southeast European feature projects in a development and financing stage. Devised as a co-financing forum, CineLink Drama present 5 brand-new drama series projects developed by producers from Southeast Europe to assembled regional and key European broadcasters, VoD and SVoD operators, and distributors in open pitch presentations followed by a Q&As and one-to-one meetings on request. Eight feature film projects and five television drama projects in early development have been announced as part of this years CineLink line-up. The focus of the of selection is on projects from first and second time directors from Southeast Europe. Additional projects from the more established authors for the CineLink Co-Production Market will be announced in the following weeks and the final selection will include a project presented in partnership with Doha Film Institute. CineLink Drama also welcomes the Midpoint TV Series launch workshop, presenting nine projects in the open pitch session.

Docu Rough cut Boutique has been reorganized in three modules and 5 projects will be presented in the close screenings. In addition to the flagship selection of quality projects in development, screenings of fiction and doc works–in-progress and extracts from finished films going into distribution, CineLink Industry Days will welcome the Ji.hlava’s Docu Talents from the East.

Please let us know by June 25, if you are interested and send us a short motivation statement by e-mail to and so that the selection of EAVE producers participating can be made.

The selected producers will be invited by CineLink Industry Days and the Sarajevo Film Festival who will provide accreditation and accommodation (August 19-22) during the market. EAVE and CineLink Industry Days will cover the travel cost up to a maximum of 400 EUR.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
