EAVE is proud to announce the launch of a workshop for film producers and writers to be held in Ramallah, September 2-6 in partnership with the British Council and the Palestinian Ministry of Culture.

Sixteen Palestinian producers, writers and directors will be working intensively with an EAVE team including Samm Haillay (Third) and Alastair Clark (Wellington Films), prize winning British producers, French screenwriter and script consultant Jacques Akchoti, producer and British Council film expert Rachel Robey and EAVE President and EAVE on DEMAND Ramallah workshop Head of Studies, Alan Fountain.

The workshop will cover a variety of issues including script writing and analysis, film financing, co-production and international collaboration, project presentation and the international market. One of the highlights of the week will be the screening of Hany Abu-Assad’s latest feature ‘Omar’, which won the Jury Prize in Cannes Un Certain Regard in May.
