EAVE IMPACT SESSION available to watch now: ALGORITHM AND DATA AS MARKETING TOOLS

press release

EAVE Marketing Workshop experts Ali Vahdati and Elena Neira dive into the unknown and fascinating world of VOD data.

Moderated by Wendy Mitchell in this EAVE IMPACT session, they walk us through the corridors of Netflix and Amazon Prime and allow us to perceive how they think and shape content.

Seen as an opportunity for producers and the European film industry, the understanding of data can be a game-changer.

Elena depicts the world of Netflix taggers and the influence of A/B testing for Netflix images. Knowing the elements she presents, can completely change the importance we (finally!) should give to images in our industry.

Ali, on his end, has developed the platform SODA which measures the consumption of SVOD in 1000 households per EU territory. With his Dashboard, he can know which films and series are being watched by each household and extract the demographic data behind them.

Don’t miss this crucial session to think about the immediate digital future!

The session is available to watch for 15 days, until December 4, 2020.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
