- BIGMAN by Camiel Schouwenaar, producer: EAVE graduate Reinier Selen, co-producer: EAVE graduate Marcel Lenz is in post-production. The script, penned by the helmer in tandem with Job Tichelman, is loosely based on the latter’s own youth. In detail, it follows best friends Dylan and Youssef, as they dream of becoming professional football players. When Dylan is paralysed following an accident, he has to come to terms with his new life. His dad – and former coach – wants him to accept his disability and move on, but Dylan is determined to play football again. The project, shot in and around Rotterdam, received backing from Eurimages, Ostlicht Filmproduktion, Netflix, KIKA, TSK and MDM.
