- LE SYNDROME DES AMOURS PASSÉES by Ann Sirot and Raphaël Balboni, producer: EAVE graduate Julie Esparbes is shooting. The film follows the trajectory of Rémy and Sandra who can’t have children on account of a strange illness: "Past Lovers Syndrome". There is only one way to recover from it: they must spend one last night with each of their exes. Sirot and Balboni are clearly looking to explore the notion of the couple, but they’re also investigating family, what it is that unites us, what makes us a legitimate couple, what role does parenthood or faithfulness play when it comes to falling in love?
- ANGEL’S TRUMPETS by Ildiko Enyedi, co-producer: EAVE graduate Jonas Dornbach is shooting. The film is the pilot episode of the TV series about Human Trafficking of the same name. The story takes place in Békés County, in the southeast corner of Hungary. It is produced by Ákos Erdös through Paprika Studios, and coproduced by Komplizen Film, Pyramide Productions, Moliwood Films. The two protagonists of the series are Anna and Jázmin, who were victims of human trafficking and now live in a sheltered house in Hungary. After learning that Jasmine’s sister, 15-year-old Bella, may have gone abroad as well, they escape from the sheltered house to rescue her, take revenge on the mafia and thus finally be free.
- THE LAST HERO by Ziga Virc, producers: EAVE graduates Sinisa Juricic and Bostjan Virc is shooting. In the Slovenian/Greek/Croatian co-production a man is trying to prevent a German retailer chain from tearing down a statue of his father, a decorated World War II hero, and building a store on the site. Aiming to preserve the memory of the resistance movement, he is unwittingly destroying the life of his daughter. In less than 24 hours, life is turned completely upside down for everyone involved in a series of tragicomic events. Bostjan Virc through Studio Virc produces the film in co-production with Sinisa Juricic through Nukleus Film (Croatia) and Minos Nikolakakis (Greece). The project is supported by the Slovenian Film Center, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, RTV Slovenija, the Greek television broadcaster ERT and Creative Europe MEDIA, in cooperation with Film Studio Viba Film. The 25-days shooting takes place in the surroundings of Ljubljana and it is expected to end in July.
