Details of fees and scholarships

Producers in Workshop 1, 2 & 3

Registration: 150 €

Producers Workshop membership fee with a project: 3,000 €

Producers Workshop membership fee without a project: 2,000 €

Conference fee per workshop (incl. accommodation and full board, excluding travel): 1,600 €
 
Project Writers in Workshops 1 & 2

Associate fee of 600 € per workshop

Conference fee per workshop (incl. accommodation and full board, excluding travel): 1,600 €
 
Graduates of the EAVE Marketing Workshop and/or EAVE+ programme(s) benefit from a reduced Producers Workshop membership fee of 2,700€ (for participating with a project) and 1,700 € (for participating without a project).


EAVE SCHOLARSHIPS 

EAVE allocates scholarships that cover either the membership fee and/or the conference fee. These scholarships will be allocated to approximately 8 participants from LCC countries (Albania; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Croatia; Cyprus; Czech Republic; Estonia; Greece; Hungary; Iceland; Latvia; Lithuania; Luxembourg; Malta; Montenegro; Portugal; Romania; Slovakia; Slovenia; Norway; Macedonia; Serbia; Georgia; Moldova; Ukraine; Tunisia). We encourage participants to apply for financial support with their national/regional funding bodies first.

ALAN FOUNTAIN SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship has been set up in the name and memory of Alan Fountain, former EAVE Head of Studies and President, who recently passed away. The fund was set up thanks to donations by friends and colleagues. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU, preferably with a documentary project, to participate in the EAVE Producers Workshop in 2019.

DOROTHY VILJOEN – PACT/EAVE SCHOLARSHIP

The Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television and EAVE are jointly offering a scholarship for 1 UK participant per year for the EAVE Producers Workshop in the name and memory of Dorothy Viljoen. The scholarship will cover the memebrship fee for the workshop and part of the conference fees.

MDM BALKAN SCHOLARSHIPS

The regional fund Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung generously sponsors scholarships to 2 producers (TBC) from Central and Southeast Europe. Application for these scholarships which cover the participation fee and/or part of the conference fees (TBC) is open to producers applying with project from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia.

CENTRE NATIONAL DU CINÉMA ET DE L’IMAGE ANIMÉE

The French CNC supports the participation of three producers from countries outside of Europe with a partial scholarships covering the membership fee and/or part of the conference fees. The countries eligible include all countries in AfricaLatin Americathe Near and Middle East (except Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates), and Asia (except Korea, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan), along with the following Central Asian and European countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

POLISH FILM INSTITUTE

The Polish Film Institute will offer a scholarship-award for one Polish participant for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2019. The scholarship-award will cover the producer’s membership fee with a project for the workshop, as well as the conference fees up to a total amount of 30.000 PLN. The scholarship will be granted to one of the selected projects in development pitched at the Polish Days in the framework of the New Horizons International Film Festival.

CINEMA DO BRASIL SCHOLARSHIP

Cinema Do Brasil will offer a scholarship for one Brazilian participant (member of CINEMA DO BRASIL) for the EAVE Producers Workshop. The scholarship will cover the producer’s membership fee with a project (feature or documentary) for the workshop, as well as the conference fees.

FILM FUND LUXEMBOURG

Thanks to a special partnership with the Film Fund Luxembourg, EAVE is able to offer a membership fee scholarship to Luxembourgish participants at the EAVE Producers Workshop.

FVG AUDIOVISUAL FUND

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund offers one scholarship for one producer with or without a project for the EAVE Producers Workshop, to be selected by EAVE at the WHEN EAST MEEST WEST co-production market.

EX ORIENTE FILM

EAVE offers a scholarship for one producer participating in Ex Oriente Film 2018 to attend the EAVE 2019 Producers Workshop. The scholarship will cover the producer’s membership fee for the EAVE 2019 workshop. 

TELEFILM CANADA

Telefilm Canada will offer a scholarship for two Canadian participants or the EAVE Producers Workshop. The scholarship will cover the producer’s membership fee with a project (feature or documentary) for the workshop and the travel costs for all 3 workshops.

REALNESS

EAVE is partner of the REALNESS scriptwriters’ residency programme and offers one scholarship for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2019 covering the participation and conference fee for one project / participant out of the selected projects for REALNESS, to be picked by EAVE.

OUAGA FILM LAB

EAVE will offer one scholarship for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2019 (membership fee & the conference fee for one workshop) to one of the participants of the OUAGA FILM LAB, to be selected by an EAVE representative during the Ouaga Lab.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
