"We are excited to discover through your eyes new perspectives on life here and around the world. We are looking forward to seeing films that do things differently, that show an awareness that there are more things between heaven and earth than one can possibly imagine – whether in an animated film, a documentary or a fruitful combination of both. Films revealing how documentary and animated film absorbs and expresses the present. For us, a documentary is much more than a means of transmitting information while animated films use the power of imagination to open up a world that goes well beyond sight and sound. And that's exactly what we want to celebrate with you and your films during the festival!"
