Press releas

In the framework of its renowned Producers Workshop in Strasbourg, France, EAVE will organize a special half-day module about TV drama production which will be live streamed on the EAVE website (www.eave.org) on Wednesday, October 21 from 9:00-12:30.

The TV Drama day will feature Marianne Gray from Yellow Bird (SE), Camilla Hammerich from DR (DK), EAVE graduate Sandra Harms from Miso Film Sverige (SE) and Liselott Forsman from Yle (FI). The event will be moderated by Andrea Reuter (SE).

The high-profile guest speakers who have produced such TV drama series as: OCCUPIED  and BORGEN will elaborate on what it takes for independent producers to move from feature film to TV drama production and explore the point of view and modus operandi of the broadcasters, their vision, global trends and an outlook on the future.

As the session’s moderator Andrea Reuter puts it: "I find it very exciting that drama series from the Nordic countries is growing more and more popular around the globe, with both original versions and remake rights sold widely. What are the Scandinavians doing right, what are the coming trends in the region and what are the areas that still need improving?
