Asia Pacific Screen Awards

The winners of the 17th Asia Pacific Screen Awards will be announced at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards Ceremony on Saturday 30 November 2024 at The Langham, Gold Coast, Australia. The following films by EAVE graduates have been nominated in different categories:

  • ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT by Payal Kapadia, producers: EAVE graduate Frank Hoeve, CPI graduate Thomas Hakim, co-producer: EAVE graduate Gilles Chanial is nominated for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Performance
  • APRIL by Dea Kulumbegashvili, producer: EAVE graduate Archil Gelovani is nominated for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Performance 
  • HESITATION WOUND by Selman Nacar, producers: EAVE graduates Guillaume de Seille, Oana Giurgiu is nominated for Best Screenplay
  • VIET AND NAM by Truong Minh Quy, producers: TTB group leader and National Coordinator Asia Bianca Balbuena, TTB graduates Bradley Liew, Stefano Renting, EAVE graduate Marie Dubas, EAVE+ graduate Joost de Vries for Best Cinematography
  • KAMAY by Ilyas Yourish, Shahrokh Bikaran, producer: EAVE graduate Hanne Phlypo is nominated for Best Documentary
  • MEETING WITH POL POT by Rithy Panh, producer: FFF graduate Jovan Marjanovic is nominated for Best Director
  • MONGREL by Chiang Wei Liang & You Qiao Yin, co-producer: EAVE graduate Marie Dubas is nominated for Best Cinematography
  • STRANGER EYES by Yeo Siew Hua, producer: EAVE graduates Fran Borgia, Jean-Laurent Csinidis, EAVE graduate Alex C. Lo is nominated for Best Cinematography
  • SUNSHINE by Antoinette Jadaone, producer: TTB graduate and group leader Bianca Balbuena is nominated for Best Youth Film
  • TTB project HAPPYEND by Neo Sora, producers: TTB graduate Masubuchi Aiko, EAVE graduate Alex C. Lo is nominated for Best Film, Best Screenplay
  • YOUTH (HOMECOMING) by Wang Bing, co-producers: EAVE graduates Denis Vaslin, Fleur Knopperts is nominated for Best Documentary

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
