Frankfurter Buchmesse & Berlinale Co-Production Market invite production companies and scouts interested in international IPs to apply for the Frankfurter Buchmesse & Berlinale Matchmaking during Book-to-Screen Day.

  • Date: Friday, 9 October 2026
  • Time: 11 am - 1 pm
  • Location: Frankfurter Buchmesse

At this matchmaking event, you will have the chance to connect with around 20 selected international IP holders (publishing houses and scouts), and discover book titles with strong adaptation potential. This will be followed by a Get-Together for more in-depth talks and international networking.

During the selection process, a balance will be kept between newcomers and seasoned professionals from both the film and the publishing industries.

Deadline to apply: 30 June 2026

From June 24, there will be a discount code on the trade visitor ticket for film professionals, available for EAVE members (40 EUR instad of 91 EUR)! Stay tuned!

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
