Raindance Postgraduate Film Degree - Special discount for EAVE producers
This online Masters programme is currently being delivered to students in 5 continents and allows filmmakers to achieve an M.A. or M.Sc. in a structure they personally negotiate with tutors and industry collaborators towards a qualification improving employability in teaching and executive careers.
Weekend online study groups backed up by podcast recording and flexibly arranged Skype tutorials are designed to deepen the background research relevant to your film or business and prepare you for the challenges of production and marketing. Course work deliverables can include your current EAVE project development, as well as other film work you have worked on previously as long as it has not been submitted to any other academic institution.
The learning activities are adaptable, available part-time or full-time, and depend on your evolving aims to lead for example to an M.Sc. testing avenues to Crowd Funding, an M.A. investigating the Marketing of Fact-based Drama or a business plan for a set of Comedy Webisodes. Your final project could be a thesis, screenplay, or a finished film.
Alumni who have been benefiting from Raindance training and communities include such successes as Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Oscar® winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park, The Young Victoria, Downton Abbey), Guy Ritchie (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Snatch; Sherlock Holmes), Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake, Stardust, Kick-ass), and Christopher Nolan (Memento, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception).
The next London Study Group starts 15 September, and the next Online start date is 3 November, current EAVE students and alumni get a 5% discount.
