PUENTES 2025 SELECTION ANNOUNCED!

press release

We are thrilled to announce the selection of participants for the 2025 edition of EAVE PUENTES!

EAVE’s Latin America – Europe co-production workshop is welcoming its new cohort in Montevideo (UY) from June 2 – 8, 2025!

In partnership with Bocacha Films, our 15 selected participants will dive deep into the dynamics of coproduction between the two continents. Through group work, plenary sessions and individual meetings with top-notch industry experts, they will explore the creative, financial and strategic aspects of international collaboration. The PUENTES pedagogical team includes:

  • Head of Studies Fernanda del Nido (Setembro Cine, AR/ES)
  • Group leader Sophie Erbs (Gaijin, FR)
  • Script consultant Jacques Akchoti (FR) - online consultations
  • Producer Agustina Chiarino (Bocacha Films, UY)

This highly experienced lineup of industry professionals will be further enriched by PUENTES guest experts Álvaro Arroba (Directors Fortnight – Cannes, FR), Benjamín Domenech (REI Pictures, AR), Diego Lerman (Campo Cine, AR) and Gabor Greiner (Films Boutique, DE).

In parallel to the programme, a workshop for local professionals - supported by Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual del Uruguay – ACAU, Universidad Católica del Uruguay and Montevideo Audiovisual - will take place from June 2 - 5. Synergies will be fostered, as local industry participants will join the moderated panel “My Country at a Glance”, where participants will present co-production opportunities in their respective countries.
