Producer of the Year Award for EAVE graduate Riina Hyytiä

Awards October 2013

EAVE 2012 graduate Riina Hyytiä received the Producer of the Year award at the 4th Finnish Film Week, the industry event which ran alongside the Helsinki Film Festival.

EAVE 2007 graduate Ankica Juric Tilic received the Albert Kapovic Award at the Zagreb Film Festival. The prize is given to the memory of the founder of the Croatian Audiovisual Center to persons whose activities have substantially contributed to the quality and promotion of Croatian film.

MEINE KEINE FAMILIE by Paul-Julien Robert, producer: EAVE 2008 graduate Oliver Neumann was awarded the Grierson Award at the London Film Festival, crowning him winner in the Documentary competition.

ARE YOU LISTENING! by Kamar Ahmad Simon, producer: EAVE 2012 graduate Sara Afreen won the Jury Award in Film Southasia.

CIRCLES by Srdan Golubovic, co-producer: EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar was the winner of the CinÉast Filmfestival in Luxembourg.

THE CONGRESS by Ari Folman, producers: EAVE 2011 graduate David Grumbach and EAVE 1994 graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum was awarded the José Luis Guarner Award at the Sitges International Film Festival.

THE LUNCHBOX by Ritesh Batra, co-producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Karsten Stöter was given the Church of Iceland award at the Reykjavik International Film Festival.

WOLF by Jim Taihuttu, producer: EAVE 2013 graduate Julius Ponten won three Calfs at the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht. Jim Taihuttu received the price for best director. Lieke Scholman was awarded for best production design, and Marwan Kenzari was awarded best actor.
&ME by Norbert ter Hall, co-producers: EAVE 2009 graduate Peter Bouckaert and EAVE+ 2013 graduate Titus Kreyenberg won the prize for best camera.
Katharina Wartena received the best editing award for IT'S ALL SO QUIET by Nanouk Leopold, producer: EAVE 1994 graduate Stienette Bosklopper.

CHILD’S POSE by Calin Peter Netzer, producers: EAVE 2007 graduate & Romanian National Coordinator Ada Solomon and EAVE 2011 graduate Oana Giurgiu won the Bayard d’Or for Best Film at the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur. Luminita Gheorghiu was awarded Best Actress for her role in CHILD’S POSE.
PUPPY LOVE by Delphine Lehericey, producers: EAVE 2003 graduate Sébastian Delloye and EAVE 2011 graduate David Grumbach won the Prix BeTV for a feature.

THE LUNCHBOX by Ritesh Batra, co-producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Karsten Stöter won the Canvas Audience Award at the Gent Film Festival.
HARMONY LESSONS by Emir Baigazin, producer: EAVE 2008 graduate and Russian National Coordinator Anna Katchko, co-producers: EAVE 2006 graduate Karsten Stöter received a Special Mention of the jury.

THE JAPANESE DOG by Tudor Cristian Jurgiu, producer: EAVE 2008 graduate Tudor Giurgiu won the 1-2 Comptition.

WOLF by Jim Taihuttu, producer: EAVE 2013 graduate Julius Ponten received the Youth Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

MY SWEET PEPPER LAND by Hiner Saleem, producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Karsten Stöter won the Golden Hugo für Best Film at the Chicago Film Festival.
A THOUSAND TIMES GOOD NIGHT by Erik Poppe, co-producer: EAVE 1998 graduate Lesley McKimm received the Founder’s (Michael Kutza) Award.

AN EPISODE IN THE LIFE OF AN IRON PICKER by Danis Tanovic, producers: EAVE 2008 graduate and EAVE National Coordinator Bosnia and Herzegovina Amra Baksic-Camo and EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar won the Red Goddess award at the Prishtina International Film Festival PriFest.
CIRCLES by Srdan Golubovic, co-producer: EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar took a Special Jury Mention and the Best Actor award for Leon Lucev.

At the Sophia Awards Lisbon, TABU by Miguel Gomes, co-producer: EAVE 2007 graduate Jonas Dornbach was awarded the Sophia for Best Film and the Editing award.

MARUSSIA by Eva Pervolovici, producer: EAVE 2011 graduate Janja Kralj, associate producer: EAVE 2011 graduate Natalia Drozd received a Special Mention by the jury of the International Independent Film Festival of Bordeaux
FRIENDS FROM FRANCE by Anne Weil and Philippe Kotlarski, co-producer: EAVE 2009 graduate Hanneke van der Tas was awarded the French Critics’ Syndicate Prize.

LE MAILLOT DE BAIN by Mathilde Bayle, co-producer EAVE 2008 graduate Alexandre Charlet has received the Jury Prize for Best Film at the Cortex – Sintra Festival (Portugal), as well as a special mention at the Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico.

HOME by Maximilian Hult, producer EAVE 1993 graduate Anna G. Magnúsdóttir won the Busan Bank Award, the Audience Choice as Best film at the Busan International Film Festival.
