Toronto International Film Festival
EAVE graduates won 3 awards at the Toronto International Film Festival:
- KANAVAL by Henri Pardo, producer: EAVE MW and FFF graduate Adolf El Assal won the Amplify Voices Award for Best BIPOC Canadian Feature and received a Honourable Mention by the Best Canadian Feature Film jury
- ELECTRA by Daria Kashcheeva, co-producer: EAVE graduate Juraj Krasnohorsky won the Short Cuts Award for Best Film
Greenlandic film awards
Innersuaq - the Greenlandic national film award voted exclusively by members of FILM.GL - was awarded to EAVE graduate Emile Hertling Péronard for his extensive work in promoting Greenlandic film, and he received also the Best Documentary award for TWICE COLONIZED.
Filmkunstmesse Leipzig
- THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING by Timm Kröger, producers: EAVE graduates Heino Deckert, David Bohun, Dario Schoch won Best Film (national) at the Filmkunstmesse Leipzig:
Polish Film Festival Gdynia
- Three awards for IMAGO by Olga Chajdas, producer: EAVE graduate Izabela Wojcik, Violetta Kaminska, co-producers: EAVE graduates Laurette Schillings, Arnold Heslenfeld, Frans van Gestel at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia: the film scooped the Silver Lion, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Lena Gora) and Best Music.
MakeDox Skopje
- BETWEEN REVOLUTIONS by Vlad Petri, producer: EAVE graduate Monica Lazurean-Gorgan won the Onion Award for Best Film in the Main Competition of the MakeDox Creative Documentary Film Festival, Skopje.
Cinematik Piestany
- FALLEN LEAVES by Aki Kaurismäki, producers: EAVE graduate Misha Jaari, TTB graduate Mark Lwoff received the Meeting Point Europe Award in the main competition of the Cinematik Piestany.
CineFest Miskolc
- BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD BLACKBERRY by Elene Naveriani, producer: EAVE+ graduate Bettina Brokemper won the main award, the Imre Pressburger Prize at the CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival.
- FALLEN LEAVES by Aki Kaurismäki, producers: EAVE graduate Misha Jaari, TTB graduate Mark Lwoff won the Grand Prize Zukor Adolf Award.
Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival
- Five awards for SAFE PLACE by Juraj Lerotic, producer: EAVE graduate Miljenka Cogelja at the Herceg Novi - Montenegro Film Festival. The film won awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor as well as the FEDEORA Award and the "Zoran Živković" Plaque for Best Film.
- EXCURSION by Una Gunjak, producer: EAVE graduate and National Coordinator Bosnia Herzegovina Amra Baksic Camo, EAVE graduate Adis Djapo won the Golden Mimosa for Best Screenplay and the Golden Mimosa for Best Actress (Asja Zara Lagumdzija).
- LOST COUNTRY by Vladimir Perisic, producers: EAVE graduates Vincent Quenault, Janja Kralj, EAVE graduate, group leader and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic received a Special Jury Award for actor Jovan Ginic.
Lantern & Light International Children’s Film Festival
- THE SONG OF FLYING LEAVES directed and produced by EAVE graduate Armine Anda received the LLICFF Golden Flame Animation Award and the LLICFF Producers Award.
