EAVE’ s annual online workshop covers most recent developments of the rapidly progressing AI tools used in the audiovisual value chain. Through leading experts on script development, production, post-production, marketing and legal aspects, the workshop aims to give a comprehensive view on the newest tools available for the ecosystem. This workshop also addresses ethical and ecological considerations and includes practical exercises and interactive Q&A sessions with the speakers and fellow participants.
Who is it for?
Whether you are new to the subject or already implementing AI into your daily work, this workshop is crafted to equip you with the very latest insights and expert discussions on the evolving role and integration of AI across the audiovisual industry. Focusing on industry-specific applications, participants will gain skills and develop a deeper understanding of AI tools that can be directly integrated into their professional practice, while remaining mindful of its ethical, legal, creative and environmental implications.

When and where?
The workshop will take place over 3 half days from September 29th to October 1st (14.30 - 18.00 CET every day) on Zoom*.
*The workshop will not be recorded, so your participation during the workshop hours is required. Only those participants who have paid their registration fee will be admitted to the Zoom.
Workshop Programme
The programme brings together professionals working at the forefront of engagement with AI in the audiovisual industry and covers, among others, the use of LLMs to support script development, AI-powered marketing and audience design, post-production and workflow optimization, the legal landscape surrounding AI and the ethical and environmental implications of its use.
The module is moderated and devised by PETRI KEMPPINEN of Good Hand Production, Finland.

Partnership with the International Screen Institute
Through the partnership with the International Screen Institute, graduates of the EAVE AI Skills Booster are eligible for a reduced fee for the Hands-on AI Producers Lab (taking place December 3 - 4, 2026, in Vienna). The Lab is aimed at participants with prior AI experience, with priority given in the selection process to alumni of the Future Ready programme and the EAVE AI Skills Booster. A limited number of scholarships are available specifically for selected BIPOC participants and for participants from low production capacity countries (priority to LCC group B countries as defined by Creative Europe/Media) or countries with no existing support mechanisms.
The EAVE AI SKILLS BOOSTER is organised once a year with the support of the Creative Europe - MEDIA sub-programme of the European Union.
