- DIE VATERLOSEN by Marie Kreutzer, producer: EAVE 2002 graduate Ursula Wolschlager scooped four awards at the Diagonale Festival in Austria. Marie Kreutzer was awarded the Grand Prize of the festival, Lena Koppe received the Best Camera Award, Marion Mitterhammer was awarded Best Actress, Best Actor is Johannes Krisch.
- The award for Best Editing went to ABENDLAND by Nikolaus Geyrhalter, producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Michael Kitzberger.
- Nikolaus Geyrhalter Film production received the Prize for innovative film production for THE ROBBER by Benjamin Heisenberg, producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Michael Kitzberger.
- EAVE 2009 graduate Arash T. Riahi won the Audience award of the Diagonale for SCHWARZKOPF. http://diagonale.at

- ANTWERP CENTRAL, the creative documentary by Peter Krüger, produced by EAVE 1989 graduate Jan Roekens was awarded the Grand Prix of the 29th International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) in Montréal. www.artfifa.com

- EAVE 2004 project MIRACLE SELLER, produced and directed by EAVE 2004 graduate and Polish national coordinator Jaroslaw Szoda and Bolesaw Pawica has been awarded with the first prize of the Bergamo Film Meeting.
