AFTER PREMIERING AT THE BUSAN FILM FESTIVAL, THE FRENCH-SWISS-BELGIAN-LEBANESE CO-PRODUCTION, GO HOME, IS NOW AVAILABLE ON FESTIVAL SCOPE.
GO HOME directed by Jihane Chouaib and produced by Interchange graduate Nathalie Trafford, tells the story of NADA who returns to Lebanon, and realizes she’s a foreigner in her own country. But there’s still a place she calls home: an abandoned house in ruins, haunted by the presence of her grandfather who disappeared mysteriously during the civil war. Something happened in this house. Something violent. A young woman searching for the truth and discovering herself..
The project was developed at Interchange in 2011 by script writer/director Jihane Chouaib and producer Nathalie Trafford: "Interchange had a great impact on the project. Thanks to the program, we met and built a strong partnership with our co-producer in Switzerland, Samir."
