EAVE graduates now shooting in Germany, Cost Rica, Panama, Kazakhstan etc.
- THE WOMAN WHO BRUSHED OFF HER TEARS by Macedonian director Teona Strugar Mitevska (I AM FROM TITOV VELES was currently shooting until May 17 in Germany. The film is co-produced by EAVE 2008 graduate Guido Schwab and EAVE 2010 graduate Marcel Lenz of ostlicht filmproduktion, EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar of Vertigo Film, EAVE 1994 graduate Diana Elbaum and EAVE 2003 graduate Sébastian Delloye of Entre Chien et Loup. Support comes from Macedonia Film Fund, Slovenian Film Fund, Viba Film, MDM in Germany, the Belgium Tax Shelter and Eurimages. Cast: Victoria Abril, Jean Marie Caley, Labina Mitevska, Firdaus Nebi, Arben Arbahtaraj.
- OUARDIA by Djamila Sarhoui is in production. EAVE 2006 graduate Antonin Dedet and Les films de l'Olivier (Algéria) are the co-producers of this film.
- EAVE PUENTES 2010 project RUTA LA LUNA, produced by EAVE Puentes 2010 graduate Irina Caballero is shooting for five weeks in Costa Rica and Panama.
- HOE LUIDT HET LAND by Stella van Voorst van Beest, producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Denis Vaslin started shooting this month. In a journey through the Dutch sound landscape the director discovers how sound and behaviour are related. The documentary is co-produced by BOS (Buddhist Broadcasting Foundation) and supported by CoBo Fund, Dutch Media Fund and Netherlands Film Fund.
- SOLO by Guillermo Rocamora producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Denis Vaslin started shooting. Uruguayan Seacuatico, French Promenades Film, Argentinean Sudestada Cine and Volya Films are the production companies. Support comes from Hubert Bals Fund and Netherlands Film Fund a.o.
- WAITING FOR THE SEA by Bakhtiar Khudojnazarov, co-produced by EAVE 1994 graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum, Vvis Studio, and Thanassis Karathanis of Pallas Film, is shooting in Kazakhstan. The film is supported by CNC (Centre National de la Cinématographie), Eurimages and the Russian Ministry.
