EAVE 2011project MONUMENT TO MICHAEL JACKSON received the Serbian Film Center support
- EAVE 2011 project MONUMENT TO MICHAEL JACKSON by Darko Lungulov, co-producer: EAVE 2011 participant Snezana Penev is supported by the Film Center Serbia – Ministry of Culture Production Fund. The film is one of 5 supported projects of the FCS. In July, MONUMENT was selected for the 2010 CineLink co-production market in Sarajevo.
- The Global Film Initiative has granted production funding to ten new film projects, two of which are produced by EAVE graduates:PUENTES 2009 project I DREAM IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, producer: EAVE 2005 graduate Raymond van der KaaijEAVE 2011 project SAINTS, producer: EAVE 2011 participant Enis Köstepen
- CHAR: THE ISLAND WITHIN, directed and produced by Sourav Sarangi, co-produced by EAVE 1992 graduate Stefano Tealdi of Stefilm and Final Cut For Real (DK) won the ARTE grant for development at the Open Doors Awards 2011 in Locarno.
- Warner Bros. to remake SLEEPLESS NIGHT by Frédéric Jardin, producers: EAVE 1991 graduate Paul Thiltges, EAVE 2011 participant David Grumbach and EAVE 1998/99 graduate Hubert Toint. The original involves an undercover cop who winds up losing a bag of cocaine that he needs to pay the villainous owner or a nightclub in ransom for the release of his kidnapped son.
