Grand finale: EAVE 2023 Producers Workshop in Rotterdam

The EAVE 2023 Producers Workshop culminates in a grand finale during its third and final session in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from October 23-30!

The newest members of the EAVE network, after a year of training to develop their producer skills, are now ready to present themselves and their projects to a wider professional audience in meetings specially curated by EAVE.

We will welcome 85 “future partners” – leading international industry professionals - to meet the 55 rising producing talents from 34 countries at physical or online meetings.  EAVE provides a safe space to discuss participants’ careers, company slates and the 28 fiction, documentary and series projects developed during this year’s EAVE Producers’ Workshop under the guidance of EAVE’s top experts.

Successful projects developed at the EAVE Producers Workshop include recent festival hits such as CITIZEN SAINT, BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS, MAMI WATA, LOVE ACCORDING TO DALVA, DRAW FOR CHANGE! and many more.

What’s new in the workshop programme?

On the menu is a rich offer of plenary sessions, group work and individual meetings with EAVE experts and exquisite guests.

Highlights include anticipated sessions on the following topics:

EAVE builds bridges to the Dutch industry

Parallel to the main workshop schedule, EAVE offers group work sessions for 6 selected projects from the Netherlands, as well as open plenary sessions for a wider Dutch audience of film industry professionals.

The EAVE 2023 Producers Workshop’s third and final session in Rotterdam is organized in partnership with the Netherlands Film Fund, Netherlands Film Commission and the Rotterdam Film Media Office, and in collaboration with Volya Films, New Producers Academy, CineSud, Playgrounds, Creative Europe Desk Netherlands, NAPA and SEE NL.

The first two sessions of the EAVE 2023 Producers Workshop took place from March 3-10 in Luxembourg and from June 11-18 in Alpbach, Austria.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
