Eyeworks tops the Ensors nominations for Flemish cinema with 23 nominations

- Eyeworks blows the Ensors nominations for Flemish cinema with 23 nominations, eight of which for MARINA by Stijn Coninx and THE TREATMENT by Hans Herbots, and seven for THE VERDICT by Jan Verheyen. Producer of all three films is EAVE 2009 graduate Peter Bouckaert. The ceremony will take place on 20 September next, as part of the Ostend Film Festival.
- RUN BOY, RUN produced and directed by EAVE 1994 graduate Pepe Danquart, co-producer: EAVE 2009 graduate Hanneke van der Tas is among the 15 films that are nominated for German entry for the 87th edition of the Oscars, in the category of Best Foreign Language Film.
- THE JAPANESE DOG by Tudor Cristian Jurgiu, producer: EAVE 2008 graudate Tudor Giurgiu will represent Romania at the Academy Awards.
- Hungary will be submitting WHITE GOD by Kornél Mundruczó, producers: EAVE 2004 graduate Viktoria Petranyi and EAVE 2013 graduate Eszter Gyarfas, EAVE script consultant Martin Daniel.
