The EAVE AI SKILLS BOOSTER is back with additional hands-on elements to try out the newest and rapidly evolving tools and enhance your practical skills.
The deadline to register is extended until July 30!
EAVE’ s annual online workshop covers most recent developments of the rapidly progressing AI tools used in the audiovisual value chain. Through top-tier experts on script development, production, post-production, marketing and legal aspects, the workshop aims to give a comprehensive view on the newest tools available for the ecosystem. This workshop also addresses ethical and ecological considerations and includes practical interactive exercises that give the participants access to use the presented tools.
When and where?
The workshop will take place over 3 half days from October 7th to 9th (14.30 - 18.00 CET every day) on Zoom.

Whether you are new to the subject or already implementing AI into your daily work, this workshop is crafted to equip you with the very latest insights and practical discussions on the evolving role and integration of AI across the audiovisual industry.

Workshop Experts

- NUNO BERNARDO, CEO, beActive Entertainment, Portugal
EAVE graduate and Portuguese national coordinator Nuno Bernardo will unveil the cutting-edge landscape of new AI tools revolutionizing film and TV post-production. Through a live demonstration, he will showcase practical applications for producers, from enhancing VFX and streamlining editing workflows to advanced audio processing The session will explore how these intelligent tools are transforming efficiency and creative possibilities in the final stages of content creation.
- KATRI MANNINEN, Screenwriter and PhD Student, Finland
Katri Manninen will focus on content creation through her personal talk on how a seasoned screenwriter develops concepts with the help of AI — packed with fresh techniques and practical tasks that help you use ChatGPT and other large language models to boost your script development. You’ll learn by doing and get direct feedback along the way.
- SIMONAS MOZURA, Kopa Films, Lithuania
Simonas is a Generative AI specialist and founder of KOPA FILMS, a studio focused on integrating AI into video production, including film, commercials and documentaries. He recently joined Perfection42 as Creative Director, where he’s helping to develop a platform for AI-powered visual content creation and creative workflow optimization. With deep knowledge of the latest AI tools and how they differ, Simonas brings a sharp eye for choosing the right solutions for specific filmmaking tasks. In his talk, he will cover practical use cases of AI in filmmaking—from his own projects to worldwide industry examples, focusing on video production. He’ll also talk about the art of prompting, tool selection, and the ethical considerations shaping the future of film with AI.

Coming from a general overview of the state-of-the-art AI updates, Elie will explore every aspect of the way marketing teams in the movie industry can leverage those tools to streamline their process, enhance their creativity and gain in productivity.
- KATRINE SCHIERBECK, The Law Factory, Denmark
The film and TV industry is currently undergoing a significant transformation, where the use of artificial intelligence (GenAI) is increasingly becoming an integral part of both creative processes and production-related workflows. In light of this, it is more important than ever to understand the relevant legal frameworks and how they are applied in practice. Today, it is essential for professionals to be familiar with the applicable legal rules and understand how they impact the daily work surrounding film and TV production. The session will delve into international, European Union, and national regulations shaping the use of GenAI in film and TV production.
- JOANNA SZYMANSKA, CEO and producer at Shipsboy, Poland
Challenges of everyday AI - ethical, practical and philosophical questions on how to include AI into producer’s daily work. Grounded and realistic inquiry into what AI can really bring to producer’s practice - from creative disruption and mental empowerment to ethical dilemmas and anxieties for the future of the industry. In a thought-provoking and practice-based session Joanna tackles uneasy questions at the intersection of efficiency, authorship, and responsibility.

A limited number of scholarships are available specifically for selected BIPOC participants and for participants from low production capacity countries (priority to LCC group B countries as defined by Creative Europe/Media) or countries with no existing support mechanisms.
