EUROPEAN CO-PRODUCTION AWARD – Prix EURIMAGES
- European Co-production Award for EAVE graduate Leontine Petit. This year’s EUROPEAN CO-PRODUCTION AWARD – Prix EURIMAGES, an award acknowledging the decisive role of co-productions in the European film industry, goes to the Dutch producer.
Lux Film Prize
- TONI ERDMANN by Maren Ade, producer: EAVE graduate Jonas Dornbach, co-producers: EAVE graduate and Romanian National Coordinator Ada Solomon and EAVE graduate Antonin Svoboda won the 2016 Lux Film Prize of the European Union.
The first winners of the 2016 European Film Awards have been unveiled by the European Film Academy.

Busan International Film Festival
- B`EST project THE NIGHT OF A 1000 HOURS by Virgil Widrich, producers: EAVE+ graduate Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu and EAVE graduate Arash T. Riahi celebrated its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and won the Flash Forward Audience Award.
Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival
- EASTERN BUSINESS by Igor Cobileanski, producers: EAVE graduate and Lithuanian National Coordinator Dagne Vildziunaite, EAVE graduate Iuliana Tarnovetchi was awarded Best Script and Best Actor at the Tallinn Black Nights Festival
- MOTHER by Kadri Kõusaar, producer: EAVE graduate Aet Laigu wins the Estonian Film Competition.
- FOAM AT THE MOUTH by Janis Nords, producer: EAVE graduate Alise Gelze is the winner of the Baltic Event Works in Progress Award
- The Eurimages Co-Production Development Award for the Best Project, went to EAVE project CITIZEN SAINT by EAVE graduate Tinatin Karjishvili
- (N)OSTALGIA by Vicki Thornton, producer: EAVE participant Marion Guth won Best Pitch Award
- EAVE graduate Kuba Kosma was awarded free accreditation for the 2017 Producers Network of the Marché du film Festival de Cannes.
Cottbus Festival of East European Cinema
- ZOOLOGY by Ivan I. Tverdovsky, co-producer: EAVE graduate Guillaume de Seille won the Main Prize for Best Film and the Outstanding Actress Award at the Cottbus Festival of East European Cinema.
- B`EST project HOUSE OF OTHERS by Rusudan Glurjidze, producer: B’EST graduate Zurab Magalashvili received the DIALOG Award.
St Louis International Film Festival

- GODLESS by Ralitza Petrovam, co-producers: EAVE graduates Katrin Pors and Mikkel Jersin was voted Best Film in the international competition of the Stockholm International Film Festival. The film was also awarded Best Actress.

- EAVE project MIMOSAS by Oliver Laxe, producer: EAVE graduate Felipe Lage Coro was awarded the Special Jury Prize and received a Honorable Mention for Best Sound and Best Editing at the Seville International Film Festival.
Lisbon and Estoril MEO Film Festival
- ELLE by Paul Verhoeven, co-producers: EAVE graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum and EAVE graduate Sébastien Delloye won the Best Film Prize at the Lisbon and Estoril MEO Film Festival.
Torino Film Lab
- THE STAFFROOM by Sonja Tarokic, producer: EAVE graduate and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic won the Torino Film Lab TFL Production Award.

- EAVE project HEARTSTONE by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson, producer: Anton Mani Svansson won the Audience Award at the Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival. HEARTSTONE also received the Fipresci Critics Award and Special Mention for main actor.
Lund International Fantastic Film Festival
- GRAVE (RAW) by Julia Ducournau, producer: EAVE graduate and French National Coordinator Jean des Forêts, co-producer: EAVE graduate Jean-Yves Roubain won the Méliès d'Or award for best European Fantastic Film at the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival.

- QUIT STARING AT MY PLATE by Hana Jusic, producer: EAVE graduate and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic won the First Prize in the Punto de Encuentro section at the Valladolid Film Festival.
Tokyo International Film Festival
- DIE BLUMEN VON GESTERN by Chris Kraus, producer: EAVE graduate Danny Krausz was awarded the Grand Prix of the Tokyo International Film Festival. The film also received the Wowow Viewers’ Choice Award.
- QUIT STARING AT MY PLATE by Hana Jusic, producer: EAVE graduate and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic won the Best Director Award.
