EAVE project AT THE SIDE OF THE MOON in pre-production

- FEMME FATALE by TIES THAT BIND graduate Kyoko Miyake, producer: EAVE graduate Guillaume de Seille receives production funding by Aide Aux Cinémas du Monde.
The Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) is providing production aid for two minority French-language debut films produced by EAVE graduates:
- TUEURS by François Troukens and Jean-François Hensgens, producer: Jacques-Henri Bronckart
- UNE PART D’OMBRE by Samuel Tilman, co-producer: EAVE graduate Elle de Waele
The Czech State Cinematography Fund announced its Minority Co-production Grants. Supported are:
- NINA by Juraj Lehotsky, producer: EAVE graduate Jiri Konecny
- TOUCH ME NOT by Adina Pintilie, producer: EAVE graduate Monica Lazurean-Gorgan
- THE CARS WE DROVE INTO CAPITALISM by Boris Missirkov and Georgi Bogdanov, producer: EAVE graduate Jiri Konecny
- FUGUE by EAVE graduate Artemio Benki

- EAVE project AT THE SIDE OF THE MOON by EAVE graduate Tudor Giurgiu, co-producer EAVE graduate Bogdan Craciun is in the casting process. Shooting in Spain and Romania is planned for spring 2017. The film is an adaptation of the Romanian bestseller Apropierea by Marin Malaicu Hondrari, a novel entwining four stories, mainly a romance involving a Romanian man who left his old life for a new adventure in Spain, and a Spanish woman. The project received a production grant from the Romanian Film Centre. The project participated in When East Meet West in 2016.
