EAVE Producers Workshop gets certified as a “Green Meeting” in Alpbach!

We are very happy and proud to share that EAVE Producers Workshop 2023 has been certified as "Green Meeting" in Alpbach!
Thinking Green has been close to EAVE’s heart for a long time, and since 2021 we have followed our Green Policy, in which we reviewed all our processes and practices, identified improvements, and defined concrete actions to reach our sustainability goals. This work is continuous, and we are always ambitious to identify next steps to be taken.
According to our Green Policy, we take sustainability into account when choosing our providers and workshop locations. We are very happy that this approach has now led to the first green certified EAVE workshop.

The "Green Meeting" was certified by Congress Centrum Alpbach - Alpbach Tourismus GmbH and complies with the criteria of the Austrian Eco-label for "Green Meetings".
- environmentally certified accommodations and conference facilities
- regional and seasonal food, mostly vegetarian
- tap water fountains instead of bottles
- no printed materials, no badges
- waste reduction & recycling
- walking distance between accommodation, conference facilities and restaurants
- group transportations to location
