EAVE Producers Workshop 2021 culminates in Barcelona with a bang

The EAVE 2021 Producers Workshop’s third and final session in Barcelona, Spain (November 8-15) will welcome a record number of 102 leading international decision makers (complete list below) to discover in physical or online meetings the 51 top producing talents from 37 countries and discuss the 31 fiction, documentary and serial projects developed during this year’s EAVE Producers’ Workshop.

On the menu is a rich programme of plenary sessions, group work and individual meetings with EAVE experts and exquisite guests. Some highlights include a session of Public Film Finance at a Crossroads by Tomas Eskilsson  (Film i Väst, SE), an interview with Beta Film’s Chief Content Officer Koby Gal Raday (Beta Film, DE) on series production, negotiation group sessions under the title About Conflict Styles & Negotiation Power. Knowledge to suceed in negotiations by Anja Henningsmeyer (DE) as well as a dedicated session on Producing in and with Catalonia with EAVE PUENTES graduate Andrea H. Català (Amor y Lujo), Carlota Guerrero (Catalan Film Commission), EAVE participant Mar Medir Benito (Catalan Films) and EAVE graduate Adrià Mones (Fasten Films).

Catalan industry professionals are joining the plenary sessions, in addition to which a group of 8 selected Catalan producers will work on their projects in group work sessions lead by EAVE Group Leader Riina Sildos (Amrion, EE).

The EAVE 2021 Producers Workshop’s third and final session in Barcelona, Spain (November 8-15), is organized in partnership with the City Hall of Barcelona, Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte, the Government of Catalonia through the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) and in collaboration with Catalan Films, Catalunya Film Commission and Barcelona Film Comission

The first two sessions of the EAVE 2021 Producers Workshop took place from March 7-12 & April 12-19 (online) and from July 19-26 (onsite in Orléans, France).

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
