EAVE & OPEN DOORS : project selection announced!

Call for applications

Dear EAVE producers,

We are happy to inform you that our partners of OPEN DOORS have announced the 12 Indian projects selected for this year’s edition of the OPEN DOORS co-production lab.

If you wish to attend OPEN DOORS without a project in order to meet the selected projects, please contact us NOW and before June 16!

OPEN DOORS will take place from August 6-9, 2011 during the 63rd Locarno Film Festival (August 3-13, 2011). At the same time, the Locarno Industry Days - that were organized with great success for the first time in 2010 - will be organized again.

EAVE producers have the unique possibility to participate in OPEN DOORS in order to meet the selected filmmakers and producers and to come and discover the Locarno film festival. The selected producers will be invited by the festival providing accreditation & accommodation during the event (4 nights, August 5-9).

Out of over 200 projects submitted, 12 Indian projects have been selected and the directors and producers of the chosen projects will be present in Locarno and available for pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings. In the framework of OPEN DOORS, it will also be possible to request meetings with 6 filmmakers of the Cannes CINEFONDATION.

The selected projects’ dossiers can be consulted online at www.pardo.ch

Please confirm your wish to attend by June 16, 2011 by e-mail to eave@eave.org.

With best wishes,

The EAVE team

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
