EAVE MARKETING WORKSHOP kicks off today!

The EAVE MARKETING WORKSHOP 2025 welcomes the 31 selected participants to Luxembourg! The workshop location will be the Légère Hotel Luxembourg from November 11-16. The 5-day programme features morning plenary sessions and afternoon group works, where participants actively work on the eight selected film projects, developing strategies collaboratively.
This hands-on, collaborative approach encourages networking and fosters a sense of community among our participants coming from across the globe, while also providing a comprehensive overview of the latest marketing practices - from targeting and positioning to international sales strategies and national publishing. It covers every stage of the distribution and marketing process, including festival positioning and the current industry trends, such as the use of the newest technology including AI tools.
The group will be guided by our marketing specialists, top-notch active professionals in the industry:
The two heads-of Studies will guide the participants through the week. Sarah Calderón (The Film Agency, ES), who will dive into the digital world to present us with online and alternative Marketing strategies. Alya Belgaroui-Degalet (Pathé, FR), who will give an insight into international marketing for sales premieres.
- PR experts Florence Alexandre (Anyways, UK/FR) and Liza Foreman (Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Screen International, and The Wrap, FR) will delve into the world of International PR and Press
- Social Media expert Guillaume Boscher (FR) will share social media marketing tips and how to purposely use different social media platforms
- Pauline Maghnaoui (StudioCanal, FR) will guide participants through pitch decks and sales booklets, exploring what works, what doesn’t, and how to maximize impact
- Marketing strategy, audience design and AI expert: Nicolò Gallio (IT) will discuss marketing strategies, audience design, and how AI tools can support the process
- VOD expert Elena Neira (La Otra Pantalla, ES) will guide participants in analysing data to inform marketing strategies for VOD and streaming platforms
- Distribution expert Boris Pugnet (Space Odyssey, FR) will speak about national distribution strategies and trailer optimization

As part of the EAVE Marketing Workshop, pre-registered film industry professionals from Luxembourg are invited to a networking cocktail on November 13th, sponsored by the Creative Europe Desk Luxembourg, offering a unique opportunity for local professionals to connect with the international participants and strengthen collaborations within the European film community.
We warmly welcome Letícia Friedrich and Olha Matat, the Marketing Buddies of last year’s EAVE Producers Workshop, who have trained over one year as specialized marketing professionals.
Ionna Bolomyti and Konstantinos Koukoulis are participating with the support of the AGORA-Thessaloniki International Film Festival Scholarship, Mayca Sanz thanks to the LA INCUBADORA scholarship, and Natalya Sarch with support of M:BRANE, while Bawa Kadade Riba participates in the framework of our partnership with the Great Lakes Creative Producers Lab. Clare Diao from Sudu Connection (France) has been granted the EAVE Diversity Scholarship.
