In Production September 2015
- MOON DOGS by Phillip John, producer: EAVE graduate Jaqueline Kerrin is in production. The film tells the story of two teenage stepbrothers on a road trip from Shetland to Glasgow. They meet Caitlin, an enigmatic young woman who threatens to come between them. Support comes from Irish Film Board, Creative Scotland and Film Cymru Wales.
- THE WHITE KING by Alex Helfrecht and Jörg Tittel, producer: EAVE graduate Viktoria Petranyi is in production. The action/adventure drama and sci-fi is about a 12-year-old boy who deals with the abduction of his father by the totalitarian state he calls home.
- LOMO – THE LANGUAGE OF MANY OTHERS by Julia Langhof, producer: EAVE graduate Martin Heisler, is shooting. 17-year-old Karl is trying to find his place in the world. The possibilities available to his generation - the digital generation - seem limitless. People all over the world follow his blog. More and more, he allows his followers to make decisions about his life, which leads him to disaster. The debut is part of LEUCHTSTOFF, an initiative of RBB and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. The film is also supported by Kuratorium junger deutscher Film, BKM and DFFF.
- DON’T TELL HER by Solange Cicurel, producer: EAVE graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum is shooting. The comedy episode film poses the question, why is it that the more we love, the more we lie? This constitutes quite an array of existential questions that the characters of the debut film by Solange Cicurel will be forced to ask themselves. DON’T TELL HER has received backing from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and Wallimage. The shoot will continue in Brussels until mid-October.
- LE ULTIME COSE by Irene Dionisio, producer: EAVE graduate Carlo Cresto-Dina is shooting. The debut film by Irene Dionisio, which tells three stories that intertwine at the ‘Banco dei Pegni’ (the offices of the State moneylender) in modern-day Turin, is being produced by Carlo Cresto-Dina’s production company Tempesta with Rai Cinema in co-production with Amka Films and Ad Vitam. LE ULTIME COSE, which will be shot over five weeks entirely in Turin, has received financial support from the Film Commission Torino Piemonte and the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.
