Special for EAVE Producers: HOLLAND FILM MEETING
Call for applications
EXTENDED DEADLINE: July 10th, 2015
EAVE is delighted to continue its partnership with the HOLLAND FILM MEETING taking place during September 22-25, 2016 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Utrecht will again be the key location for the finance and support of quality independent film. This year the Holland Film Meeting (HFM) celebrates its 29th birthday and will, as in previous years, look to stimulate a high level of co-production activity between many of Europe’s leading representatives from the Dutch, European and global film industry. We are pleased to inform you about BoostNL - the new collaboration between HFM and CineMart, Rotterdam, which maximizes market support of international co-productions that have already been presented at Cinemart or granted by Hubert Bals Fund and for Dutch feature projects currently in development. Read more about the programme here.
At the HFM Co-production Platform, the core event of the HFM, approximately 20 Dutch and European feature films in development will be introduced to a selected group of top international film industry professionals from the production, finance, sales and distribution sectors.
EAVE producers from European countries (outside of the Netherlands) have the unique possibility to participate in Holland Film Meeting. Priority will be given to applicants from low production capacity countries. The selected producers will be invited by the festival providing accreditation for the event, 3 nights hotel, travel expenses (economy class) and access to all festival events.
In order to apply, please send your application to tina@eave.org and hfmcopro@filmfestival.nl by July 10st, 2016.
Thanks to the partnership between EAVE and Holland Film Meeting, EAVE producers also have the opportunity to participate at the HFM in order to discover the selected projects, participate in the pitches, round table sessions and meetings.
A selected number of EAVE producers without project will be invited by the festival with accommodation and festival badge, which gives access to all meetings and HFM programme in the luxurious Karel V hotel, in Utrecht.
Applications can be sent to Nasztazia Potapenko at hfmcopro@filmfestival.nl with a short CV and filmography/motivation. Find out more about the target group, other requirements and application procedure here.
