- The Prize of the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival 2011 received HALT AUF FREIER STRECKE (STOPPED ON TRACK) by Andreas Dresen, producer: EAVE 1994 graduate & group leader Peter Rommel
- The Golden Camera of the Festival won LAS ACACIAS by Pablo Giorgelli, producer: PUENTES 2011 participant Paula Massa
- The Cannes’ Ecumenical Jury awarded its main Prix to THIS MUST BE THE PLACE by Paolo Sorrentino, co-producer: EAVE 1991 graduate Ed Guiney
- The SACD (Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques) and the CICAE (Confédération internationale des cinémas d’art et d’essai) prizes of the Director’s Fortnight went to THE GIANTS by Bouli Lanners, producers: EAVE 2000 graduate Jacques-Henri Bronckart & EAVE president and 1992 graduate Jani Thiltges
- HIER by Balint Kenyeres, producer: EAVE 2008 graduate Dirk Decker of Riva Film won the ‘Prix ARTE des Relations Internationales’. The award goes to the best script presented at the Atelier du Festival. Shooting of the co-production with Cameo Film, Les Films de l´aprés-midi and Bob Film is planned for the end of 2011 in Morocco.
