Zurich Film Festival

  • HOCHWALD by Evi Romen, producer: EAVE+ graduate Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu won Best Film in the Focus Competition of the Zurich Film Festival
  • WOOD by Monica Lazurean-Gorgan, producer: EAVE graduate Ebba Sinzinger, Monica Lazurean-Gorgan received a Special Mention


CinÉast Luxembourg

  • SERVANTS by Ivan Ostrochovsky, producer: EAVE graduate Tudor Giurgiu was awarded the Grand Prix at CinÉast – Luxembourg’s Central and Eastern European Film Festival.
  • EAVE project STORIES FROM THE CHESTNUT WOODS by Gregor Bozic, producer: EAVE graduate Marina Gumzi won the Critic’s Prize.
  • COLLECTIVE by Alexander Nanau, producer: EAVE graduate and Luxembourgish National Coordinator Bernard Michaux won the Audience Award.
  • FATHER by Srdan Golubovic, producers: EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar, EAVE graduate Adis Djapo, EAVE graduate and National Coordinator Bosnia-Herzegovina Amra Baksic Camo received a Special Mention by the Press Jury.


FIFF Namur

  • COLLECTIVE by Alexander Nanau, producer: EAVE graduate and Luxembourgish National Coordinator Bernard Michaux won the Bayard for Best Script at the Namur International French-Language Film Festival.


BFI London Film Festival

  • DRUK (ANOTHER ROUND) by Thomas Vinterberg, co-producers: EAVE graduates Lizette Jonjic, Arnold Heslenfeld, Laurette Schillings & Frans van Gestel won Best Film in the Offocial Competition at the BFI London Film Festival.
  • WILDFIRE by Cathy Brady, producer: EAVE+ graduate Carlo Cresto-Dina won IWC Schaffhausen Filmmaker Bursary Award.


Icelandic Edda Awards

  • A WHITE, WHITE DAY by Hlynur Palmason, producer: EAVE graduate Anton Mani Svansson, co-producers: EAVE graduate Katrin Pors and PUENTES graduate Nima Yousefi, TTB graduate Mikkel Jersin is the big winner of the Icelandic Edda Awards. The film won Best Director, Best Leading Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Original Score.


Golden Rose Film Festival

  • 18% GREY by Viktor Chouchkov, producers: EAVE graduates Katya Trichkova, Boris Chouchkov, Marcel Lenz, Guido Schwab won the Award of the City of Varna at the Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival.


Athens International Film Festival

  • THIS IS NOT A BURIAL, IT’S A RESURRECTION by Jeremiah Lemonhang Mosese, producers: EAVE graduates Elias Ribeiro, Cait Pansegrouw, National Coordinator Africa Bongiwe Selane won the Golden Athena Award for Best Film at the Athens International Film Festival.


La Roche-Sur-Yon International Film Festival

  • THIS IS NOT A BURIAL, IT’S A RESURRECTION by Jeremiah Lemonhang Mosese, producers: EAVE graduates Elias Ribeiro, Cait Pansegrouw, National Coordinator Africa Bongiwe Selane won the Prix Nouvelles Vagues at the La Roche-Sur-Yon International Film Festival.


Cinekid Festival

  • HUMAN NATURE by Sverre Fredriksen, producer: EAVE graduate Floor Onrust won the Cinekid Lion Jury Award at the Cinekid Festival.


IFTA awards

The Irish Film and Television Academy IFTA awards the best productions and talents of the 2019/2020 season Among them:

Finnish Jussi Awards

  • AURORA by Miia Tervo, producer: EAVE participant Max Malka won Best Film, Best Directing, Screenplay, Main Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress and Costume Design at the Finnish National Film Awards (Jussi Awards) 
  • DOGS DON’T WEAR PANTS by J-P Valkeapää, producers: EAVE graduate Aleksi Bardy, B’EST graduate Helen Vinogradov, co-producers: B’EST graduate Alise Gelze and EAVE graduate and Latvian National Coordinator Aija Berzina won in six categories, including Best Male Lead for Pekka Strang, Best Cinematography and Best Music, Best Sound Design, Best Editing, Best Make-up Design
  • FORCE OF HABIT by Reetta Aalto, Alli Haapasalo, Anna Paavilainen, Kirsikka Saari, Miia Tervo, Elli Toivoniemi, Jenni Toivoniemi, producer: EAVE graduate and Finnish National Coordinator Elli Toivoniemi won the Nordisk Film Foundation Award
  • EAVE graduate Markus Selin received the Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award


Audiovisual Producers Finland - APFI

  • EAVE graduate and Finnish National Coordinator Elli Toivoniemi has been awarded Producer of the Year by Audiovisual Producers Finland.



  • ACASA, MY HOME by Radu Ciorniciuc, producer: EAVE graduate Monica Lazurean-Gorgan won three awards at the ZagrebDox International Documentary Festival Special Edition Best film in the National Competition, Best Director and the FIPRESCI Award.


KNF Award

  • KALA AZAR by Janis Rafa, producer: EAVE graduate Konstantinos Kontovrakis has won the KNF Award (the Dutch film critics award).



  • OASIS by Ivan Ikic, producers: EAVE graduate and Serbian National Coordinator Milan Stojanovic & EAVE graduate Marija Stojanovic, co-producers: EAVE graduates Miha Cernec, Derk-Jan Warrink, Adis Djapo, EAVE graduate and National Coordinator Bosnia and Herzegovina Amra Baksic-Camo has won the Golden Sun Award for the Best Film in the SEE programme at Cinedays Festival of European Film in Skopje.


Nederlands Film Festival

  • SEE ME by Patty Stenger, Yvonne Kroese, producer: EAVE graduate Floor Onrust won the Golden Calf for Best Short Film at the Nederlands Film Festival
  • RED LIGHT by Wouter Bouvijn, producer: EAVE graduate Peter Bouckaert won the Golden Calf for Best Actress
  • EAVE MW project GOUD by Rogier Hesp, producer: EAVE graduate and Dutch National Coordinator Frank Hoeve won Best Camera 
  • BUMPERKLEEF by Lodewijk Crijns, producers: EAVE graduates Frans van Gestel, Arnold Heslenfeld and Laurette Schillings won Best Sound Design


Odesa International Film Festival

  • ROMA by Olha Zhurba, producer: EAVE graduate Anne Köhncke, Monica Hellström received a prize from the Ukrainian Institute as a project with the greatest international potential at the Film Industry Office of the Odesa International Film Festival.

EAVE CEO Kristina Trapp was mermber of the pitching jury.

  • EAVE project DALVA by by Emmanuelle Nicot, producers: EAVE graduates Julie Esparbes, Delphine Schmit won Eurimages Co-production Development Award.


El Gouna Film Festival

  • Variety Magazine awarded the best Arab talent in the Middle East to Palestinian producer and EAVE graduate May Odeh.


Sevilla Film Festival

  • Canal Sur Radio y Televisión (CSRTV) has awarded Lifetime Achievement Award to EAVE graduate Olmo Figueredo, co-founder and producer at La Claqueta and president of Ancine (Asociación Andaluza de Productores de Cine).


Sitges Film Festival

Sitges 2020 hosts the Méliès d'or awards for European fantastic cinema.

  • PELICAN BLOOD by Katrin Gebbe, producer: EAVE graduate Vera Gräfe-Höft was awarded the Méliès d’or Award for Best European Genre Film by the Méliès International Festivals Federation


Hof International Film Festival

  • EAVE graduate Lena Vurma and her Berlin-based film production company dragonfly films GmbH receive the 60,000 Euro VGF Young Producer Award for the production of ADVENTURES OF A MATHEMATICIAN by Thorsten Klein.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
