- THE SALT OF THE EARTH by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado, producer: EAVE graduate Gian-Piero Ringel is competing for Best Documentary.
- JOANNA by Aneta Kopacz, producer EAVE graduate Kasia Slesicka is nominated for an Academy Award in the category Documentary Short Subject
- SONG OF THE SEA by Tomm Moore, producer: EAVE graduate Isabelle Truc is nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Animated Feature

The film is nominated for Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay, and has also earned nominations for Fabrizio Rongione in the Best Actor category.

- MARINA by Stijn Coninx, producer: EAVE graduate Peter Bouckaert is nominated for Best Flemish Film in Co-production, Most Promising Actor and Actress, Best Production Design and Best Costumes.
