• SIERANEVADA by Cristi Puiu, co-producers: EAVE graduates Zdenka Gold and Macedonian National Coordinator Labina Mitevska, executive producer: EAVE graduate Oana Giurgiu is nominated as the Romanian contender for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
• TONI ERDMANN by Maren Ade, producer: EAVE graduate Jonas Dornbach, co-producers: EAVE graduate and Romanian National Coordinator Ada Solomon and EAVE graduate Antonin Svoboda represents Germany at the Oscars.
• THE COMMUNE by Thomas Vinterberg, co-producer: EAVE graduate Laurette Schillings is shortlisted as Danish entry.

The 2016 LUX Film Prize has selected the three films in its Official Competition. The 10th-anniversary edition of the award will have two films by EAVE graduates as the final contenders.
